One of those days where I was the bandaid dispenser, juicebox poker, boo boo kisser, you-know-where wiper, stop-climbing-that yeller, "don't put your brother in that box/cabinet/laundry basket/fill-in-the-blank", put yer shoes away for the eleventy millionth time nagger...
School's out for summer. HELP ME NOW.
That was so me last week when the kids were sick. I was also a crazy Mommy Dearest with no sleep :)
ReplyDeleteOh man.....hahaha! There is a cute mother's prayer I'm going to have to remember to email to you later today; I think you will enjoy it. Good luck today!
ReplyDeletePreach it sista!
ReplyDeleteToday is our last day.
Oh, where's a drink with an umbrella when I need one?
Ha! Sounds like my everyday. Guess the flip-side is what I get to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteWe're feeling it here, too.
ReplyDeleteThere is always an adjustment when school ends. The school kids aren't used to being home all day, the little ones aren't used to sharing mom with those big kids who eat ALL the snacks and hog the yard.
Ahhh! While you are saying "help me", I am saying "Thank Goodness this year is almost over!!!" The teachers cheer while the mommies cry. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteThis morning before Matt went for the bus the boys were picking on each other (yelling, pushing, screaming, etc) and it went on and on and ON....
ReplyDeleteFriday I will not have the option to send Matt off to school and break up the chaos.

And I used to be so confused when my mom kept signing me up for summer camps I didn't want to attend.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing at what Jenny said. I'm thinking that's why me and my sisters went to summer camp too! Summer break for us starts tomorrow. I'm happy, I'm not.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! Chloe is the only one in school, but it's so different from the minute she walks through the door...fighting, hitting, screaming - you name it.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is her last day - Not sure if I'm looking forward to it (I love all of us home together, doing activities and stuff) or dreading it (can't stand all of the fighting, etc.) :)
I am so with you! We have been out for a week and a half and it keeps raining. I am praying for sunshine so that two can be outside a bunch.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know! I got up to go to work this morning and wanted to wake up my kids and ask them to return my house to normal.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to be needed!
ReplyDeleteThat's me today!! WHOOOOTTT!!!!
ReplyDeleteHope it's a fun summer for you! When I was pregnant with Corinne, the boys entertained themselves by getting me glass after glass of water with chipped ice - NO CUBES. Loved that water that summer...
Well, I didn't have much help in the way of school anyway (2 hours, twice a week), but I feel ya.
ReplyDeleteI've got just what you need! http://MommyImBored.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI've been going through that with my 2.5 yr old son for a few months now! Just last night I talked to hubby about getting him into some sort of daycare/preschool program - for everyone's sanity! "If mama ain't happy - ain't nobody happy!"
ReplyDeleteYep. That is me everyday! ;)
ReplyDeleteNow I have the Fergie song in my head because of your post title!! Haha!
ReplyDelete- Jane
oh man, I'm gonna be there end of next week. Bah
ReplyDeleteHA! It's so tiring... :)
ReplyDeleteSeems like I was just crying the "blues" yesterday. Along with supervising a new lab puppy and my two boys under age 5, and cook dinner, MY LIFE GETS TURNED UPSIDE DOWN... We are all there with you.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteSchool gets out here tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI think I just saw the future.

ReplyDeletethanks for the vote and summer busters! We still have one more day of school.
ReplyDeleteHang in there girlie! A box of baby goodies is on it's way to you! :-)
ReplyDeleteI know, I am so ready for Roo's new preschool orientation to start next week. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteOh man! Sorry! At least there is the park...
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the poison ivy soother. Splinter taker-outer. Bicycle tire pumper. Sunblock smoother. And the "Stay out of the poison ivy near the old sandbox with your bicycle in the hot sun" yeller!
ReplyDeleteIsn't summer just the best!?
Sharon - Pinks & Blues
ROTF!! DITTO over HERE!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL - Isn't that every day? teehee!
ReplyDeleteUm, yes...me too. I am ready to go insane.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I'm envisioning my future with Popeye and theBeast when he's old enough for them to play together. heehee.
ReplyDeleteOh, one of THOSE days! I think we mommies all have them every once in awhile...hang in there.
ReplyDeleteYep.. LOL. I sympathize with you. We did sit down today and make out our schedule for this summer so I can make sure we are staying busy... before we all go crazy haha.
ReplyDeleteOH I hear you girl - LOUD & CLEAR!!!
ReplyDeleteA mouse in the car - eeeeeek! I would be as useful as a chocolate teapot!
ReplyDeleteFound you through Adoptic. Hope it is ok to add you as a friend?
I'm sure it will be a great summer but we'll all definitely be ready for school again in the fall.
ReplyDeleteI am soooo with you. When does school start again?
