Options. A girl needs options.
Some of these will work it in the fashion show on Sunday. And being resourceful, only one pair here I actually bought today. (I admired a similar pair that Gabrielle aka Design Mom was stylin' while we were at Disney.) The rest I "shopped" from my own closet...
I've mentioned before about the Shoes nickname I had in middle school. My Dad still calls me Shoes.
There really isn't any other shopping occasion that I feel such a rush like when I shop for shoes. The world just seems more colorful. Smells smell better. Seriously I had an extra spring in my step. I was loving my hair today. It was a good-songs-on-the-radio-all-day day. A pregnant woman doesn't have a whole lot to work with when she's getting rounder by the minute, but thank goodness I can count on fashion for my feet.
I'm thinking I need to find a way to incorporate my shoe collection into the general decor of the house... might brighten things up a bit. Just looking at them makes me happy.
And wouldn't you know the topic of May's Write-Away Contest at Scribbit is "Shoes."

mmmmm...I love shoes.
Ahhh...shoes. I think I might need a new pair or two now that you mention it. :-)
Oooh, I forgot about your fashion show. I wish I could go, but can't because of flag football (last game).
Strut your stuff in those shoes!
Lori
I love those yellow ones! I'm actually going out shopping today also. I feel deserving of a couple nice things after a week of being sick. Love your shoes, shoes! hee
I love shoes! I want those yellow ones too. and now I want to go shoe shopping
Hmmm you could get a lighted etagere to display your shoes and rotate the display seasonally so each and every shoe would get a chance to strut its stuff. If it got really crowded you could just show one shoe of the pair, perhaps along with an item that you might coordinate with it ie shoe and purse maybe add a scarf. Wouldn't that be fun?
Shoes get me into trouble!! My husband asks all the time "Seriously, Sky, HOW many pairs of flip flops can one person possibly need?" He just doesn't understand...I need as many pair of shoes, as he does tools in that garage!!
Shoes make me smile.........
Those new ones are adorable! I feel the same way about shoes...total therapy.
Love your shoe line-up! Are you more of a heels person than a flats person?
What amazing timing on both our parts. Great minds shoe shopping together.
I can't relate so much. I am more of a flat, comfy shoe person. I buy sandals, loafers, and boots in brown and black. Pretty boring. I think I'm just too practical. Please don't send Stay and Clinton after me!
i love shoes... and bags :D
I am so not a shoe person. I am way too cheap to be one. LOL Those are seriously some cute shoes though! Fun!!
I have bunions on my feet so I'm really not a shoe wearing freak, but I think they're pretty for sure. It's too bad we can't incorporate shoes into our home decor.. like, to use them as vases for flowers, to hold some pretty apples in them, to hang on the wall... I think I might look into this some more. :)
I have not stopped by in forever and thought I have not it seems we have been living the same night times, though I am most definitely not pregnant at this point in time, I mean hubby is not even in the country so that is a big now. The sagging shoulders in the middle of the night when you just want to be alone is oh so felt here as well.
Okay, between this post and the one regarding the not so funny comedy of errors, I think you may be taking my thoughts and expressing them in a much more entertaining way than I could ever hope to do.
Shoes can make a woman shine like almost nothing else. Love them.
Happy Mother's Day !

I wish I could love shoes more. I just have never been able to let go of that praticality or frugality.
I will live through your shoe closet I guess. I would like to see it.
Shoes. Such a simple pleasure, so much pleasure for so many women.
