Now THAT'S a first dress! ZOWIE! See, you're already good at this mother/daughter thing and she's not even born yet. Where did you find that precious lil thing?
Wow - that is absolutely precious! When I was preggers with my girl, I had so many girl clothes that I begged people to stop buying clothes. They wouldn't. Something about little girl clothes is so much fun to buy and everyone wants to get in on the action! We had so many clothes with tags still on that she never got to wear. (It could have had something to do with the fact that I seemed to birth a toddler, not an infant - so she didn't get to wear the tiny things!) You are going to have so much fun picking out all the girl things. Mine is 3 and I still have a blast buying things for her! I adore my son, but my daughter is so much more fun to shop for!
Congratulations! Having a daughter has been the greatest joy of my life. (She's my firstborn, and I'd love to have a son someday.) The dress is beautiful! I look forward to seeing what her name is :-)
That dress is adorable! Girls are fun and have so many clothes...I have 15 boxes stored from my daughter and she is only 2. So many cute things and many more happy memories. Congratualtions on your little girl!
Oh Steph! I'm so happy for you, hun! I'd be happy for you either way but you know what I mean! And this dress is just perfect to ring in the new era in your family dynamics. Congratulations a million times over!!! And yes, if you don't mind sharing where you found this little charmer, I know Sophia would adore it in her size... being the diva princess that she is & all. ;)
I'd be doing the same thing for a little girl. That is just too precious. According to my mom (who bought me tons of little girly dresses), my first word was pretty which I said while dress shopping. She's going to be quite the little princess(and not in a bad way) amongst all those boys.
Honestly that pic doesn't do it justice, it's magical and precious and you almost feel like you can't touch it, it's that pretty. It's HERS, and we haven't even met her yet. Ahhh!
Oh so lovely! It is so fun having a girl! I love dressing mine up in pink clothes and little hats. I'll miss the days I can't do it anymore, I just love it!
Aww, it's so pretty! She will be quite the princess!
