Not Recommended Waiting Room Music
Macho Macho Man by the Village People just doesn't fit a doctor's waiting room, mmmkay? At least I've Had The Time Of My Life came on next to make up for it I guess. iPod was in my bag and thisclose to going in my ears but then my name was called.Heartbeat: in the 150's, for those keeping track.
heartbeats have never made any sense to me. My 2 girls were all over the place. Just to be able to hear the heartbeat....oh the joy!
ReplyDeleteBoth my girls were in the 150's and the boy was in the 140's.
ReplyDeletewhat were your boys?
still high! I've a feelin...
ReplyDeletethis is a wonderful blog! love it!
ReplyDeletei am new to it, just came across... wonderful!
Maybe to get your mind on the music not the exams? Yikes. I have no good reason why that would be playing.
ReplyDeleteWhat were your boys heart rates?
150? GIRL!
ReplyDeleteI have no clue about heart rate in relation to the sex. But isn't it great to hear??!!
ReplyDeleteI go tomorrow!
Macho Man??? Seriously??? ew.
ReplyDeleteMost of my doctors waiting rooms had no music. At all. Tv in the background but I dont want to hear about Iraq while waiting to hear my baby's heart beat.
So exciting by the way! If heart beat does help tell the sex...both my pregnancy were in the 150's and both were girls.
Here is to a healthy heart beat! *cheers!*
Oh if only I were in that waiting room with you -- what a laugh!
ReplyDeleteLori
My boys were in the 150's and 140's. Glad to hear the baby is doing good!
ReplyDeleteMacho man at the ob/gyn? Nice.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember what and if the heartbeats mean.
healthy is good.
Yay for babies!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to hear the heartbeat! What a blessing!
ReplyDeleteMacho Man???!! Really, quite the interesting choice of music, hmmmm.
We had between 140-150 last week. I'm just sayin'!
ReplyDeleteSounds good, Steph, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I agree with you about that music, totally not fit for the OB/GYN office! :D
ReplyDeleteEveryone says that girls have a faster heartbeat - but who knows, really?
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's the baby's them song? Maybe it's a "he" and "he's" trying to tell you a bit about himself:)
ReplyDeleteGood strong heartbeat! So reassuring, isn't it? I love that.
ReplyDeleteFunny music. hehe
How exciting! That is what I miss so much about being pregnant ... the anticipation of hearing the heart beat and the precious movement within.
ReplyDeleteYou look great too Steph!! Glad to hear that all is well!
All my boys were in the 150s and 160s... but EVEN the doctor/nurse told me that was abnormal for boys!! I'm thinking GIRL!! :)
