Macho Macho Man by the Village People just doesn't fit a doctor's waiting room, mmmkay? At least I've Had The Time Of My Life came on next to make up for it I guess. iPod was in my bag and thisclose to going in my ears but then my name was called.
Heartbeat: in the 150's, for those keeping track.

heartbeats have never made any sense to me. My 2 girls were all over the place. Just to be able to hear the heartbeat....oh the joy!
Both my girls were in the 150's and the boy was in the 140's.
what were your boys?
still high! I've a feelin...
this is a wonderful blog! love it!
i am new to it, just came across... wonderful!
Maybe to get your mind on the music not the exams? Yikes. I have no good reason why that would be playing.
What were your boys heart rates?
150? GIRL!
I have no clue about heart rate in relation to the sex. But isn't it great to hear??!!
I go tomorrow!
Macho Man??? Seriously??? ew.
Most of my doctors waiting rooms had no music. At all. Tv in the background but I dont want to hear about Iraq while waiting to hear my baby's heart beat.
So exciting by the way! If heart beat does help tell the sex...both my pregnancy were in the 150's and both were girls.
Here is to a healthy heart beat! *cheers!*
Oh if only I were in that waiting room with you -- what a laugh!
Lori
My boys were in the 150's and 140's. Glad to hear the baby is doing good!
Macho man at the ob/gyn? Nice.
I don't remember what and if the heartbeats mean.
healthy is good.
Yay for babies!
How fun to hear the heartbeat! What a blessing!
Macho Man???!! Really, quite the interesting choice of music, hmmmm.
We had between 140-150 last week. I'm just sayin'!
Sounds good, Steph, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
LOL, I agree with you about that music, totally not fit for the OB/GYN office! :D
Everyone says that girls have a faster heartbeat - but who knows, really?
Maybe it's the baby's them song? Maybe it's a "he" and "he's" trying to tell you a bit about himself:)
Good strong heartbeat! So reassuring, isn't it? I love that.
Funny music. hehe
How exciting! That is what I miss so much about being pregnant ... the anticipation of hearing the heart beat and the precious movement within.
You look great too Steph!! Glad to hear that all is well!
All my boys were in the 150s and 160s... but EVEN the doctor/nurse told me that was abnormal for boys!! I'm thinking GIRL!! :)
