Just What Kind Of Bun Is In My Oven?

Is it a sweet roll? Or a hot dog bun? Or I love how my friend Sarah says "bagel or baguette?"

I am half-way there, people! Fifty percent. And on May 9 we are finding out if we'll be adding another boy to our brood or if a girl is going to turn this house of boys upside down!



The fabulous Warm Biscuit Bedding Company is offering a $50 gift certificate for a fun little contest here. Correctly guess if I'm having a boy or a girl, and I'll randomly pick a winner. So if we're going to keep playing on words- is this a biscuit with eggs or...?

Will I need to make room for more swords and airplanes or are dolls and tea parties in our future?

Just leave your guess by commenting below (one comment per person.) If you guess "boy" and we find out it's a boy, then you'll be in the drawing to win. Likewise if you guess girl and it's a girl. If it turns out we have a modest baby crossing his or her legs, then I'll choose a winner from all the comments.

The big announcement will be made here on Friday May 9! If you feel uncomfortable leaving an email address with your comment, I'll also be announcing the winner at Prizey Winners.

  7. Before I guess, can I ask a couple of questions?

    Are you carrying the same as with your boys?

    Is your pregnancy going the same as with your boys? (ie: is it harder, easier or the same)

  9. I am carrying about the same so far- ALL THREE of my boys' pregnancies were different! I will say that this pregnancy was by far the worst with morning sickness and overall discomfort in the beginning!

  15. I am selfish and want to see you have a girl because I can't wait to see how you would dress her! Your kids are always dressed to the max and it would be neat to see a little girl. Then again I love my boys and that would be fun too. Oh, but I guess I have to pick one or the other for the contest. Ok...I think it is a girl and that is my final answer!

  28. I am on my third pregnancy and I will also find out on May 9 what we will be adding to our family! This has been a really hard pregnancy for me too, and I have two boys. I will be fine either way, but must admit I am hoping for a girl! So, I am voting girl for you too!!

  39. Hmm, "by far the worst with morning sickness," then I'm voting GIRL. My girls made me sick, sick, but not the boys (a friend had the opposite -- my doc said it might be our bodies' reactions to the diff. hormones; mine reacts to a girl's).

  59. Saw a weird study today that if you eat more healthy, salads, etc. you are likely to get a boy. The theory is that boys need more nutrients to create. Besides that, I am crossing my fingers for a girl. We need some girls to shake things up!

    If baby is a boy then each of your boys has a playmate close to his age. How nice is that? Even numbers, and no one is ever left out. :)
    If baby is a girl then she will be the most well-protected little sister ever! Very cute. :)
