It's not that we think dyeing eggs or candy-filled Easter baskets are wrong. It just isn't a tradition we've really done with our boys. Maybe we will next year or someday if the mood strikes us. But today they don't know any different, and I saved money and sanity- no Easter grass to haunt me for the next two months. Or eternity.

So, we didn't dress up for Easter after all. No church for us today as we're all getting over coughs and colds. But big plans for next Sunday. We'll be dressed to the nines.
It's spring break and I'm looking forward to doing (drum roll, please) ... nothing. Doesn't that sound wonderful?
Cute hair! We aren't even out of pj's yet. Definitely not a traditional Easter here either!
ReplyDeleteOh the hair cuts look SO cute! I can't wait to see them dressed to the "nines" with their new hair! Have a happy spring break!
ReplyDeleteHow funny and cute! MY kdis actually dressed up and looked awesome...and posed very nicely for pics in front of all of my blooming bushes outside. I can't wait to post the pics.
ReplyDeleteI think those Easter pictures are perfect! Real, authentic moments captured on film are my favorites. My parents never did Easter baskets for us, but we always started Easter morning with an egg hunt. Today I kept the tradition going by hiding eggs with my mom for my niece and nephew. It was cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to your adorable family!

awwwww the boys are soooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteI love those pics! Glad you're getting over the nasties in time to enjoy your spring break. Have fun doing nothing!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! They all look so big! Wow! Moving out of the way....definitely! I hope you have a great, relaxing week with your boys!
ReplyDeleteWe don't color eggs either...just do hidden baskets and usually have breakfast out.
ReplyDeleteAnd when did Carter chopped his hair. It's cute! (And so are the other boys -- ha!)
Have a great week doing nothing...
Lori
PS We took no pictures this year since our camera was packed!
It does sound wonderful...your boys are such handsome young men. We still have two weeks until Spring Break here...can't wait to do nothing!
ReplyDeleteDoing nothing for Spring Break is exactly what we are doing. Although, is starting potty training nothing.
ReplyDeleteThey looked adorable today...even though they weren't feeling 100%. I don't miss that messy ole' easter grass either. Love the new hair cuts...
ReplyDeleteLove it! Great picture! Hope you enjoyed your Easter and will so enjoy spring break!!!
ReplyDeleteYour Easter sounds wonderful! We spend each holiday having to stop at 3 homes and expecting to eat at all locations. I feel lucky to have so much family, but at the same time it is exhausting. I couldn't imagine doing it with more than one kid. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the new hair!!! Hope you had the best Easter... I'm all about the unconventional this year. And let me know if you're up for some playtime this week!
ReplyDeleteThey're so cute! Hope you're all feeling better soon, and you won't be down again. Happy pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteLoved the music video.
Look at those handsome smiles! Have fun doing nothing. Our nothing days of spring break will come at the end of the week. Today it is all packing and cleaning for our trip to Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures - they are just way too adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteI like have long days of nothing either. We did venture to a log cabin for our spring break. We "hiked" with our 1-year old. Our Ergo sling came in very handy.
