I'm Looking Forward To The Bus Ride Alone.

I've never been to Disney World.

I've never even been to Florida.

But next month, because someone at Disney cares about what I think as a "Mommy Blogger", I will be making my first trip down there.

A by-myself, no-kids, 3-day get away.

Oh, and it's completely on them. The fine, fine, fine folks at Disney!

I'll get to meet my blogging buddy Musings Of A Housewife finally for the first time. She asked if they could put us in the same room. And they said No!

WE GET OUR OWN ROOMS!

What ever will we do with ourselves?

I am excited about the plane ride. I am excited about staying at the Walt Disney World Beach Club Resort. I am giddy about taking the short bus trip alone to the airport!!!

I am worried I won't want to come home.

  1. How fun!! I LOVE Disney World, and you'll be happy to know that after visiting there 16 times, that the Beach Club is by far my favorite resort there. And I've stayed in them all. I'm so excited for you, let me know if you want any advice on must sees! Oh and swing by my blog, I've tagged you (sorry!) :) By the way, Gray is really just too cute in that picture.

    BTW, you re-inspired me to "wear" my baby again today. I had put my slings somewhere besides the car and finally got one out to hip carry my 10month old, it was the best!

  9. Oh my gosh! I am soooo jealous. I am a lover of all things Disney and Disneyland/World.

    I have known people who have worked for them, either at the park or in the studios, and love learning about the ins and outs.

    I spent my honey moon there [preggers which meant restrictions on the rides] and did tons of research. If you want any tidbits or anything! Let me know.

    There is so much you can do at Disney World. It would take at least a month to do it all if not longer.

    Ok...so I could go on and on so I think I will stop now.

  27. Oh my goodness, that is so awesome!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney World and even did a couple of internships for them while I was in college. My child is not even 2 yet and I have ALL the Disney movies for him. Yes ALL of them. You are going to have a BLAST! And what a great time to go, you wont have any long lines this time of year! I have to let you know, I am very jealous. :)

  33. wow thats aweseome...We are going to disney next week, but driving 1142.12 miles with a 7 yr old and a 2 yr old but it doesn't sound as glamerous as you trip, LOL! Boy I love being a mom!

    As someone who has been to Disney World more than a dozen times, I can definitely say it's most fun either with a group of crazy friends, or with kids. Pretty much the same, eh?
