We heard the heartbeat for the first time yesterday. I am just about 13 weeks along and the little life inside me, a little bigger than a lime, has a heartbeat. It was so nice to hear.
If you are the kind that likes to know, it was 165.
I wasn't even going to take a pic of the belly since I really thought it still hadn't even slightly popped out, but when I took this just now, I was surprised to see there is something there!
I was never brave enough to do the bare belly shots! Your little bump is very cute!

ReplyDeleteYou look so sweet! It is funny how in the beginning you are dying to see some physical evidence of the pregnancy in the way of "showing" and by the end you just want to be able to see your feet again.
ReplyDeleteBoth my kids had high heartbeats, obviously one girl and one boy so don't listen to all the old wives tales about gender determination by heart rate. I think it would be fabulous if you had a fourth boy- how fun! Girls are pretty great too, though. :-)

Your belly has definitely popped out and I'm glad you took the photo. To me, the most exciting thing of all is hearing the heartbeat for the first time. When I had my babies, we couldn't do that. So I'm very blessed my daughter begged me to go to all the "big" appointments. Very, very blessed indeed.

ReplyDeleteWow we must be due at the same time. We just heard bbies heartbeat on the 10th. It was fast 190. I have 6 girls and this is the fastest I had one that was in the 180's but never 190. It will be fun to see who has what this time.
