Yay for the kicks! My boys both had hiccups like mad, too. It was kinda fun to actually see my belly move with their hiccups (and kicks and rolling) but it did get a bit annoying after awhile.
I love feeling kicks! It makes me feel so much better! I hate the wait between visits to hear the heartbeat. Kicks happen all the time and are comforting!
I remember by daughter having the hiccups something fierce - and it would never fail that I would feel it the most when I was trying to sleep!;) I do, like you, love the kicks!
Yay! Don't you just LOVE that first time you get to feel the baby move? Really...I think the best part about being pregnant (besides actually getting a precious little one at the end!) is feeling the baby move. And hiccups...yeah, we have those going on at least 3-4 times a day inside my tummy right now!
I think I must have never experienced major hiccuping babies because it's just not ever bothered me that much. Hope I don't eat my words one day. I do love those kicks though, at least in the beginning, before it's basically being kicked by a huge, eight pounder.
Kicks are great, hiccups are the worst. My babies got them near the end, so they were head down, so I could feel them, well, in a weird place! Not fun. Enjoy the kicking!
How exciting! There is nothing like those little (or not so little as time goes on) kicks. The hiccups have been driving me crazy of late; they aren't as bad when baby is head up, but after they turn, man they are annoying!
I miss being pregnant because of those kicks! I remember the first time I felt the hiccups - It was the middle of the night and in my half-asleep state I thought that rythmic beats meant her heart was beating really strong and was about to burst or something!
Oh! I love that first moment, how exciting! I didn't know about the hiccup thing, and I said to my friend "Why won't she stop banging her head on my pelvic bone in rythem, its so annoying!", then a few days later I realized it wasn't really HER fault, it was hiccups!
Thinking about those kicks makes me wish my womb wasn't empty at the moment. Jonah was the hiccup king, morning noon and night. Definitely don't miss those!
Yay!!!! I loved the hiccups of our 2nd one. It was reassuring to me that she was okay and still with us. She continued to get those hiccups until about 6 weeks of age.
OMGosh, all three of mine had the hiccups constantly!
ReplyDeleteYay for baby kicks!!!!!
