Dog Catcher Apples

I went to the grocery store yesterday! I'm really branching out. I even took Gray, which was even more brave of me as normally I will only go to the store when hubby is home to stay with the kids.

But, I was feeling up for it and off we went.
While I was bagging some apples (Pink Lady apples to be exact) Gray noticed the Red Delicious apples bagged in a net nearby.

Mommy why apples caught in dog catcher's net?

A lady next to us looked up and laughed.

I explained to him that sometimes apples come in bags and sometimes you can put them in your own. It seemed to satisfy. And I think I want to take him to the store with me all the time now.

  15. Cute story! I never go to the grocery alone. It is (usually) fun to have my three year old along, honestly. It teaches her a lot about the world and about people. Sure sometime she gets fussy, but generally she does great. And it is good see things from a child's point of view some times.
    Cute pics, too!!

  17. wow...brave girl! I have always taken AJ to the store with me. It's my love hate relationship with Jewel. But, I have recently banned him from grocery carts, my car seat (he can go with Papa), and all stores. I go alone (or at least until he is 10). :)
