Noah had his first school choir concert the other night and a note had come home that the children should dress nice.
On the morning of the concert, I reminded Noah that he'd need to wear something nice that night and, since he is quite the casual little boy, (not like you can tell, with his hair and all) I was prepared for him to protest.
To my big surprise, he said he wanted to wear a suit.
A suit?! You don't have a suit. I don't think any of the other kids will be in a suit.
But I want to wear a suit! And I want to wear it to church, too.
I had just been telling friends that this would be our first un-dressy Easter since our new church is so casual.
And now Noah wants to wear a suit.
So, off to school Noah went and off to find a suit I went.
And I was beaming when I found the perfect one in his size.
And I guess we'll be dressing up for Easter this year after all.

Oh, how cute is he! Melt my heart. And taking after his mama too!
I was so happy to be able to share in the special moment of watching him walk down his stairs to show off his new look. My heart did melt! It won't be long before he walks down those same stairs on his way to the prom. I better stop cause I am getting teary eyed. He is such a performer, just like his momma. What a great night watching all the kids...Can't wait til the next one.
Aww! I love that little suit on him - just adorable! And even cuter since he WANTED to wear it! ;)
I bet that suit was easy to find with Easter coming.
What a handsome boy!
Lori
He's darling and such a little man. Very sharp.
Stylin'!
I love the suit. Maybe someday God will give me a little boy that I can dress in a suit. I am glad to hear you will be dressing up. I think that is one of the best things about Easter is getting dressed up and going to churhc to praise our saviour.
Oh. Oh. Little suits. That is just about the best thing ever. So handsome!
He looks so handsome! We had a note sent home with Bubbie from children's church about not dressing them up too nice. This is the first year that we'll all be VERY casual for Easter! We'll put the nice stuff on for photos and egg hunts!
That is so sweet! We have the same problem. Our church is pretty casual, and Chloe always wants to wear the fancy dresses. O well!:) He looked really cute!
He looks so adorable in that suit!!! What a little man!
he looks so handsome!
Little boys in suits are the most unbelievably cute things ever. He. Is. A. Doll!
He's so cute. He looks so sweet in his little suit. Knowing my husband-whos idea of dressing up nice for a wedding is kakhis and a button down shirt(no tie-no way!) I think Tate will be super casual too! The church we go to is casual. Our home church really isn't but we still always dressed the way we wanted to anyway. No one cared I don't suppose. If those little old ladies had had a problem with it they would have LOVED to share it with me! hehe!
You would never know to see Terry now but he used to wear suits when he was little and he wore a tux to his prom. With Noah as an example it won't be long before Carter wants one too and Gray....? Remember you can hand those suits down. Noah did look so cute and so "grownup".
Oh my gosh, a neck tie and all! What an adorable little man!
Jane, Pinks & Blues
so precious! he looks like such a lil man.
What a handsome little guy, That suit looks so nice on him..
He looks so cute! And so grown-up. Hey, it's fun to dress up every once in a while!
He looked very cute, or should I say Cool!
He is adordable, Steph. Love that mop of hair on his head, too. I loved when Nicky had lots of hair...even if everyone else looked at me like I was abusing him for not cutting his hair! lol
Now if you could have just got that haircut! Oh my goodness what a rag-a muffin!
Karyn in Indiana
The cutest ragamuffin! : )
I told his Daddy to get it cut on Saturday and he said "it's not that bad!"
If it's up to Noah, we'd never cut it!
Steph
So sweet!
SO stylin!
Awe, what a heart breaker!
So cute. One day maybe my little man will don a suit and look adorable too. I think his hair is cute... he's working on the emo look. :)
Such a grown-up "little man"! Before you know it, he'll be driving off in a suit with his prom date. :)
Treasure the moments...
A sharp-dressed man!!!!
I love it. J used to dress so nicely, but with the addition of school and all of his casual friends, I lose out on the button down shirts these days. I still have hope for the golf shirts this summer though.
He looks so handsome in his suit! It is so cute that he asked to wear it and to church, too.
Oh my goodness... what an angel!!
A SUIT!! So CUTE!!
xo,
Audrey
He is so handsome! :)
Our church is very casual, too, but my girls still want to dress up in the "twirly" dresses and skirts.
He looks like such a rock star with that hair and that suit! SOO perfect!
how cute!!!
Awww, how cute! He looks adorable in that suit.
aww, so cute!
Oh my goodness, you need to warn us mommies that have little girls... we need to lock them up, because he looks like a little heart breaker! So adorable!
Oh my, he looks incredible! :)
what a cutie!
Steph, Noah looks so grown up! I know you are so proud!
Laura H.
He's kinda got a Josh Hartnett thing going there. He owns that suit. Given my disdain for suits, I was shocked when Addison wanted to wear one, too. When he saw himself in the mirror, he pumped his fist and said, "Yes!"
What is this generation coming to, Steph?
He's so handsome! I love dressing the boys in suits!
Isabella and I will be dressed to the nines this Sunday too. So we may be the only two families there who are dressed up, but at least we'll look good, right? I cannot wear jeans on Easter, I simply cannot.
That's sweet. My little brother went through a phase where he wanted to wear a suit and loafers EVERYWHERE!
What a handsome little man!
Adorable. Simply adorable.
