I bought Justin a PS3 game, and he bought me a massage. We went for gifts that we didn't want to buy ourselves but really wanted! :)
Today is also my husbands birthday - so he gets two (or one really big) gifts, usually. This year, since I am feeling much like you are, I haven't done much. My mom volunteered to babysit tomorrow if I can muster up the energy to go out with my husband :) My sister-in-law is taking my boys today, so maybe I can get around to taking a shower and actually putting on some make-up today!
well today my husband and I have our life boxed up and shipping to Alaska. So we will probably cuddle up on a twin mattress that is on the floor watching a movie
happy valentine's day!
Well, let's see...Steve has to work on his project due Saturday, Mark is still sick with a nasty cold, Matt's friend is coming over because his mom won't be home and right now I am enjoying some quiet time while Mark naps and the kids walk thru the front door.HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! =)Lori
We don't do much - cards, maybe flowers or a special dessert. But we're weird like that. :-)
We're not doing anything for V-day, we're saving it for our anniversary in a few weeks. But we have enjoyed a quiet day all together at home and are giving the big girls roses at dinner tonight. Hope you have a good one. :)
We don't do much. Eric is making ME dinner and AJ got some cards and a dalmation pup...he is totally into "that doggie movie".
I celebrate it at school with my kids, but hubby and I don't celebrate it at home.
Happy Valentine's Day!Nothing special here.. hubby is cooking his special chicken and then some wine and gourmet chocolates for dessert. What comes for trying to find out the baby's sex... I always waited, but I don't think I could do it for the fourth time! Hugs,KatjaPs. I just posted a Mommy Necklace giveaway, it would be perfect for you :)
I am dropping by today to update you on Kristen's babies - you prayed for her back in August, and I'm sending you the links to the rest of the story. There are a lot, but you can look at as much as you want to. Thanks for your prayers for these miracle babies.http://www.blogger.com/posts.g?blogID=29822720&searchType=ALL&txtKeywords=&label=Twins#
I really like valentine's day. Rich and I have always gone out for a special dinner, then we'll go to a movie. Our tradition is to get a nice box of chocolates and sneak them into the theater and share them while we watch the movie. We've gone a few times after the 14th and have gotten cheap chocolates, like you mentioned in your nwi post. That's how we celebrate it. I hope you get passed the sickness soon. Praying for you.
Well, this year I worked. Ha! But we really haven't celebrated V-day in quite awhile. The kids love it though, so I always make heart cookies and get them a little something. Besides, if Monte bought me a dozen roses on the most expensive flower day of the year, I might strangle him. After I hugged him of course.
Your comment is gonna totally make my day!
