And since I've been pregnant it seems that I've done nothing for this blog. No belly pictures. No witty stories or whimsical thoughts about the little babe (now the size of a grape! and with teeth! teeth!!!) budding in my womb. I'm sure it won't always be like this. Someday I'll be able to function normally again (I hope.) And I'll be back to posting all the time. Just wait until this kid gets here. You'll be begging for the photos to stop. It will be all cute and happiness again. You deserve a break for now.

In Waiting
There was a time, when we were planning to have this baby, that hubby said "oh, just think how good that would be for your blog" and I was all "that is not a reason to have another baby" but I did think that maybe it would help the whole Adventures In Babywearing title live on and make sense a bit longer. But trust me- this pregnancy is not for the blog.

I know exactly how you feel! My blog has been suffering with my pregnancy too. I feel too sick and tired to tackle any of the projects I mean to do, and forget about cooking!!! Hang in there...
ReplyDeleteHow fun to be carrying that bun!
ReplyDeleteLife brings all kinds of seasons, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteGo with the flow....

Thanks for entering my jewelry giveaway! Have a great weekend,

Funny how we are constantly thinking of blog fodder. Even when family planning!
ReplyDeleteAre we your ladies in waiting now? :)
Things suffer in the first trimester, especially when you are having trouble keeping up with the really important things in life!! Don't worry, you'll get more energy soon!

ReplyDeleteTrying To Have a Baby - A Mother's Story
Awww no worries darlin' :) The first 3 months are the worst for me. I can barely find the energy to eat and pee (lol) let alone post to a blog. You'll be feeling great in no time! And I can't wait to see you pregnant...I bet you're a doll!
ReplyDeleteWait....you're pregnant? Did I know this already? I am so blonde! I am soooo happy for you, and sooooo jealous!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh my. I remember those days. But what excitement, you might feel ever so blah and maybe even gross but you're growing a BABY. :D
ReplyDeletein reply to a previous post- I thought our surprise was ever so fun and I would definitely go the surprise route again. We found out the first two times... and #3 was our surprise.
Aww. I hope you feel better soon. I was very very tired, and trying to pretend I wasn't pregnant (to the outside world) throughout my first trimester. It was a challenge. ;) I hope the 2nd tri brings you lots of energy and zero sickness.
ReplyDeletei totally understand. don't worry about us. we'll be here when you are ready to jump back in. :) you take care of yourself and that little grape.
ReplyDeleteI agree with what Crunchy Domestic Goddess said and I can certainly feel for you. I've been to the hospital 3 times for IVs ... but it will all be worth it when I hold this little love
ReplyDeleteI've never felt so UNcreative in my whole life as I did when I was pregnant. It will come BACK...
ReplyDeleteJust enjoy any time you have that you DO feel well by relaxing. Well, relaxing as much as you can with already having 3 adorable boys around! ;)
ReplyDeletetake your time :)
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself I'm going to search your archives for sling/baby-wearing tips...
ReplyDeleteso when you feel up to it, maybe you could blog about the ones you'll try first.
I didn't wear DD very often (the snugli was a PAIN to get on and off), but hope to get a sling this time around.
It must be a Girl...they seem to be harder to raise...just kidding. When we see him/her it will all be worth it. I'm praying for this to pass soon..
ReplyDeleteawe, big HUGS!!! Heres in hopes of the perfect sling/wrap/pouch to arrive just in time for the new addition! (I'm really hoping you get a girl!!!)
ReplyDeletePregnancy is hard - take it easy :)
ReplyDeleteHey, I wonder how many babies blogging is responsible for? I mean, really? We're thinking of a fourth, and while it is not really because of a blog, I can't help but be pushed a little closer to the decision that I really want to make when I read all of the great stories (and see all of the great pictures!)
ReplyDeleteI think we do need to see belly pics! But I understand the need to take a break. I'm so sick and exhausted that I can barely get off the couch these days. I hope you are starting to feel better!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but I am deep into pregnancy brain. I have no interesting thoughts, but I can out eat anyone!
ReplyDeletefirst off- congrats! 2nd... I am 22 weeks pregnant and just getting back into blogging recently. It is just so hard when you are pregnant to blog for some reason!
