When I was looking to purchase my very first sling (pictured here) a few years ago, I knew I wanted a ring sling but didn't want to spend that much money. I somehow found myself looking on eBay at KimzKreations where I found just what I was looking for at an incredibly crazy-nice price at the time. I also found that Kim, the maker of these great, affordable slings, was a sweet and wonderful person through our emails!
Through talking to Kim recently, I learned that Solarveil fabric is no longer being manufactured! You can see a post I wrote about Kim's Solarveil slings back in the summer here. If you want one, the time is now to get one. Perfect for summertime, swimming, and the like... as of this writing Kim says she has Solarveil fabric available in all eight colors, but only enough black to make two more slings!
Kim has kindly offered a $20 gift certificate towards any sling in her eBay store to one reader here! Some of them you can purchase through "buy it now" and some you can even bid on at low prices! If you have been wanting to get your first sling or are itching for a new one, then leave a comment here letting me know you want to win! I don't even have kids but knew that I wanted a solar veil sling when I did have them. You should have seen the conversation with the hubs when I asked him if it was ok to buy, but I have mine in the closet waiting for the kiddo :).

Oh how neat! I'm new to your blog and would love a ring sling! I didn't have much luck with a non-adjustable sling, and always thought a ring sling might work better. :)
Oh, I would so love to be able to use this towards getting my sister a sling. She just had her second baby and feels overwhelmed about nurturing the the baby and her just turned two son. I really think that a sling would help her. Unfortunately, I didn't use them when my kids were little. So, I don't know for sure what to get her.

Gosh those slings are handy!
I arrived home from grocery shopping to find my almost three year old in pieces after his nap. He was just crying inconsolably. So I ran and got my sling and popped him in and carried him around until he felt better. I actually thought of you while I was doing it. I imagined you doing the same for your little guy.
Anyway, that's a bummer about Solar veil. I wonder why they would discontinue it. Makes no sense to me.
