I'm Pregnant!

So, now that it's out in the open I can breathe a little easier. Only thing is when I breathe, I smell things. And when I smell pretty much anything right now, I head for the bathroom. Doesn't help that today is garbage day either. Oh, and why did I just type that?

Really- I felt like everyone could see it on my face or in my words. I hate keeping secrets. And how do you blog without at least mentioning that little thing growing inside? I couldn't wait any longer. So there. Now I can breathe. Or not breathe. Great. Just talking about it is only making it worse. So please, for now refrain from telling me any of your weird cravings. I'll probably post about that later on when I can actually consider thinking about food. Right now my cravings last for about 10 minutes and then they turn into repulsions. Anyway, too much talking about it already.

I'm pregnant! Just had to say it again!

I came over from Musings of a Housewife and love your tips for clothes to wear while nursing. You'd think I would have figured it out after two babies, but...

  32. Ugh, ugh, ugh. I remember those days. In fact, this headcold has been bringing back phantom morning sickness, for some reason. I'm so happy for you and so glad I'm not in your shoes right now. Of course, in a few months when you are holding that sweet smelling newborn in your arms, I will feel differently. Sigh... Those days were The Best!

  40. Breathing was very hard for me in the beginning of this pregnancy too! I think around 14 weeks the fog lifted and I could enter my pantry without gagging.

Hang in there, the first trimester (as you know) is truly the hardest! Gosh, I wish I could send you all my maternity clothes- I am so sick of them all, most of them are too small for me now anyway and I am never getting pregnant again! This is a serious offer, weird I know- I don't think I am as fashionable as you, though. I have some great Old Navy 3-6 month adjustable pants that I miss being able to wear, tons of jeans, etc. Let me know!

  41. Congrats! That is so exciting welcome to the 4 kids club...not that there really is a club! When are you due? It sounds like the same time as Peanut was born.

  42. Congrats! (I read your blog a lot, I just don't usually comment.) I'm pregnant, too and it was so hard to share things for a while, since I hadn't said that I was pregnant. I wanted to blog about weird dreams, but I figured someone would figure it out if I kept talking about all of the weird stuff in my head. I hope you feel better soon.

  43. I feel for you girl! I was pretty sick with both my pregnancies... especially my second. I ended up having to take some meds b/c I lost 6 pounds and couldn't keep anything down. It was terrible. Thankfully it didn't last forever. I hope the same is true for you!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Congratulations...for the baby... not for the repulsions. I feel for you, I've been there. Just keep in mind the sweet miracle on the way!
