SnowSnorm

I keep teasing hubby for saying snow snorm instead of snow storm yesterday when he was actually trying to make fun of something I had said, but anyway, we had an ice storm today and I am all prepared to be stuck in the house if necessary. Except I haven't gotten groceries. That might be my only problem. But I have plenty of knitting projects! Here's what I've been working on today.

  3. Here's a scene: arriving home from my parents' last night and trying to get up our driveway. WE PREVAILED!!! (Thanks to a sledgehammer and ice scaper.)

  4. Sometimes I love being stuck inside-snowed or iced in. However, I do prefer to have fun snacks on hand. lol.

When dh and I were first married, there was a huge snowstorm. Like little kids, we went to the store and came home w/ SO MUCH junk to eat. But we had a blast.

  6. Not having enough food in the house happens from time to time. It reminds about one blog I was visiting that had a post about making a meal if you only had 3 things to use. She gave one suggestion and asked commenters for other trios. EVERYONE that commented said they couldn't wait to read some suggestions, so there ended up being none. how funny, I was hoping to read some too.

  8. That ice storm was NOT fun. Imagine trying to MOVE in it! Of course they didn't even salt our road. I got stuck for about 20 minutes on the wee hill just before our driveway. I was so worried about Josh in the truck, but he made it.

  9. Yeah, we had to brave the ice and drive to a family birthday dinner. Was not fun. Eating with the family was a blast, the white-gripping and praying all the way home.......not so much fun.
