I think now I'd like to invite you in to see a few of my favorite things around my house this Christmas.
My new table runner from Tarjay. Nothing says holiday centerpiece like cheap ornaments and oranges. I think I make it work.

And now we're entering the Tour d'Eiffel section of my living room. My favorite ornament.
A song for you from the boys' favorite ornament:

And since last year I shared my holiday socks, this year I'll show you what socks I'm wearing today.

Now that's that. I am off to relax. No plans. Breathe. I think I'll finish knitting - something for me this time- a yummy scarf. Hope you have a fabulous holiday...
Love,
Steph
Enjoy some nice R&R!

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a knitting teach session, i could be your t.a. :)
I want to learn to knit. I'm on a scarf kick, and it's getting expensive buying them. Very pretty colors. Oh, and I love the socks!
ReplyDeleteLoving the ornaments and oranges ensemble!
ReplyDeleteJane, Pinks & Blues
that scalf is beautiful - how do you get that wavy pattern?
ReplyDeleteYou are just too talented. My first scarf is still 3 inches long! And I too love the display bowl full of ornaments! Mine are olive and maroon sparkly ornaments in a leopard print glass bowl. All Tar-jay of course! Oooh and if you have a moment, swing by my blog, I have news! :) Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour, its great to see you finally getting some rest!
ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteI'm a moderator at Work it, Mom! (http://www.workitmom.com). I have admired your website and blog for some time now. Anyway, I would like to invite you to become a member of Work it, Mom! We are an exceptional social community of women from all walks of life. We have tons of WAHMs like yourself (I happen to be one as well). One awesome thing about the website is that we allow everyone to post articles. We have no restrictions on linking, so it is a great way to pull traffic to your blog and website. I really think that we could use your fresh voice. Plus I haven't seen anyone with a babywearing business there. I think we could really use some sling action. Anyway, think it over. I hope to see you there!
I enjoyed the cute tour, you inspired me to try it.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet tour. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love what you've done with your oranges. Seeing them juxtaposed against the Eiffel Tower reminds me randomly of the etymology of potpourri. It literally means "rotting pot." At Versailles they would put orange peels in bowls as a funky kind of air freshener. Apparently King Lou number 14 liked the smell of decomposing citrus.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! I want that cat on my tree. hehe
ReplyDeleteNell
My boys would love that cat! And I love the socks. They look so warm.
ReplyDeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteI remember getting that cat for Noah's Mr.Bear. Those socks are precious! Who says they have to match? That scarf is beautiful. I love that pattern and the colors.
ReplyDeleteGlad you can relax! ENJOY!! Cute socks. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the socks! Thanks for the invite.
ReplyDeleteSo funny, I have a picture of my socks on my tour post too! AND...a package came from Little Miss Matched last week that my husband swiped up and hid...I think I'll have some fun socks in my stocking this year!
