I was also asked today about trying my hand at being a doula for a friend's upcoming home birth. I can not tell you how exciting this is for me. I'm giddy about it and honored for the possible opportunity!
how exciting steph! you will be a wonderful doula! i have attended 20 births as a doula and it is the most amazing, beautiful thing to be present when a woman gives birth and welcomes her new baby.

I think that you were born to be a doula! Even in your "blog-world" you seem so strong, level-headed and yet so nurturing and supportive. What more could a woman ask for in a doula?!
What an honor! Being a doula is one of the most rewarding things I've done, and to doula for a friend would be even more amazing!
ReplyDeleteDidn't I comment about you being a doula. I think so! :)
