One of my favorite things that I use every day, and just can't live without is my camera- it even has its own story. It's just a simple Nikon CoolPix L11, one of the cheapest you can buy, but it does a great job!

Just yesterday I was taking this picture of Gray:
When all of a sudden a huge swarm of birds began flying crazily around our street and since my camera also takes video, I quickly switched to record the Hitchcock-like scene!

And then also, some more photographs from last night- my two pirates- look at them give their scary Arrr, Matey! (Carter is wearing Jolly Jack BabyLegs on his arms... I won them from Adventures of a Twenty-Something Mother... aren't they awesome?) Click on photo to enlarge.

And my niece Abigail... could she bee any sweeter?
You can find me on NaBloPoMo here.
Great photos!
ReplyDeleteThe Birds really freaked me out when I was little. Creepy movie.
Oooh, those are some mean pirates!
ReplyDeleteThe other day I was driving out of our subdivision and always pass a corn field. I swear it was from an episode of "The Birds". I was hoping no bird poop landed on my van!

They are so cute! Those birds are crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, these are great pictures....I want a new camera that does that. I enjoyed my grand-kids so much last night...the boys made perfect pirates...Gray was cute when he kept his frog suit on. Abby was so adorable as a bee. What a Great night we had...I especially loved playing in the floor with the boys afterwards when it was all over...and hearing Gray saying "MIMI" was music to my ears..
ReplyDeleteMy camera is definitely on "my favorite things" list. :) In fact, our new camera has been one of our best investments because we use it every day (not to mention the fact that we will have the photos forever).
ReplyDeleteWe have an older version of the Nikon cool pix (we got it about 4 years ago) and we're looking to update. We're going to check out the Nikon that you have. We've been happy with ours- just need something with more mega pixels.
ReplyDeleteWow, those birds seem almost unreal. I wonder what their problem was... lol
