Today Gray was buttering his toast with chapstick.
I won't even go into details about Carter's orange juice that went down and well, came back up. Hence the abundance of chapstick & toast in our house today.
I am still in wonderment at how an egg could make it all the way upstairs carried by a 2 year old.
Was it at least strawberry chapstick on the toast? That would make it a little better.
ReplyDeleteI think.
Ha! Ha! Ok. That has got to be one of the funniest posts ever written! I'm scared.... I'm having 2 boys! Ha!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I'm laughing thinking of J finding the egg and trying to picture the look on his face...
ReplyDeleteHope Carter is better soon!
Never a dull moment, huh mama!? Life with three boys! :)

Oh my! Maybe you guys should give breakfast up for a while. :-) I can only imagine the reaction to finding that egg!
ReplyDeleteIck! Didn't it smell? I guess there is something going around. Tricia's household has a couple down too. I'm thankful I avoided the stomach thing, but the sore throat and sinus thing got me. We'll all be better soon...I'm praying.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I have flashing visions of what my life will be like once my son is mobile.

chapstick on toast....
it'll be interesting, that's for sure!!!!
wow, that is a riot! I can't wait to see what else AJ does. Right now all he does is feed the dog.
ReplyDeletethat's one egg-cellent mommy story...
ReplyDeleteSorry, I so couldn't help it.
so funny! chapstick- ha!
ReplyDeleteYou'd be surprised with the whole egg thing. We have chickens and my 21 month old has carried them in from the coop several times without breaking them. Of course, she has broken them before too! But she loves to carry them so I usually let her anyway.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness. never a dull moment, huh? ;)
ReplyDeleteChildren certainly are the best source of wonderment. Sometimes I wish I could put up surveillance cameras just to see how they do what they do. :)
ReplyDeleteI should have learned a long time ago that nothing should surprise me. But somehow, they always do!
ReplyDeletelol...here's my egg story for the week: my 2 y.o. opened the egg carton at costco (from his seat in the front of the cart) and started handing me eggs two at a time...how to juggle the eggs, put them back, move them out of his reach, and finish at the checkout all at the same time? who knows but at least none got broken! he is obsessd with eggs my kid...
ReplyDeleteChapstick on toast . . . hmmmm .. . . reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite :)
ReplyDeleteDid you have breakfast at my house yesterday? really!!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO funny. Thanks for the laugh! :)
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought it said he was buttering his toast with a chopstick, and for some reason didn't think that was strange! haha. Chapstick? ewww. Hope Carter starts feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteChapstick. Same consistancy (sp?). Bad taste!
ReplyDeleteI think a 2-year old carrying an egg upstairs shows some talent!

Oh that egg is so gross! We've found sippy cups with solidified milk in them on more than one occasion.
ReplyDeleteA couple months ago, we found the mustard bottle in Fly's room.
