OH NO! Can you tell Arianne isn't from around here?!?! I just had an apple donut on Saturday, it was phenomenal. My Mom only bought 6, so I only got one. ;-( I'm pretty sad. Maybe a trip to the Orchard this week for the Mama's and the kids? They say after 230pm is the best time to go, and they close at 6pm. Sounds like an awesome plan to me!!!!
Are you trying to prove your case to me??? :) HA! Nah, I like Fall, but knowing winter is coming isn't so great. Those months between January-March just kill me!
Amen!! I love fall! I started to make cookies this morning, only to find out that I don't have any brown sugar ~ so I settled for making a chocolate torte! Yum!!
Fall is my favorite too! I feel like I come alive again :o) Fresh air, farm field trips, hayrides and everything you said in your poem :o) I just stopped by our local farm stand and got some apples, but nothing beats picking them right off the tree's.
She's talking about apple donuts they make at the Orchard by my house. They are to die for...delicious, especially when they are hot off the press...the kettle corn and cider is yummy also...I need to stop, I'm getting hungry...
I remember going on field trips with the kids and they would take the kids in to talk about the bees and send us parents in to enjoy a "free" apple donut!! Of course after one you had to buy some for home and then we had to pitch in and buy donuts for the kids and a couple gallons of cider (some kind of teachers package) and by the time we were done with that we had pretty much bought our own donut!! Still enjoy them!!
