Noah is being placed in a special reading program to help him along and keep a closer "eye" on his eye. Tonight he said, but Mommy, what if I can't do it?
You can do it.
But what if I get it wrong?
Everyone gets things wrong lots of times. It's ok.
But what if I can't figure it out even the second, third, and fourth time?
You just keep trying until you do.
Noah, you can do it big guy! I will be praying for you to feel confident in the help you will be receiving as well as confident in your ability! "I can do all thing through Christ who gives me strength", Phillipians 4:13.
ReplyDeletevery good advice! perservirence will help him, and yes Christ is our great source of strenght

ReplyDeleteNoah is so amazing. I love the words of wisdom they offer up and inspire in us.
ReplyDeleteAnd just the reminder we ALL needed.
And everybody needs help from time to time. Even us adults...especially us adults. lol
ReplyDeleteWith such incredible parents to help guide Noah, Noah will succeed in all that he does. He is a very special boy with an apparent zest for life. Good luck Noah. I just know that you will conquer this latest challenge!!

What a good mommy you are to him... to be his rock and encouragement even when you aren't always feeling strong yourself. May God's grace and strength be abundant to you!!
ReplyDeleteOH, I love the teachablity and sweetness of that age! You're a great mom Steph!
ReplyDeleteQuestions we still ask on into adulthood! He's very lucky to have you to teach him the answers now!

You are a good mama and Noah is a good guy!!! You will make it through this with bells on. I have just emailed my daughter's 3rd grade teacher with how to help her!! She does get help every year and it does encourage her and not bring her down, go mamma go!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful mom you are - he's so lucky to have you in his corner!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely great to keep encouraging him! :) It is so crazy to see the fear of failure at such an early age, but it makes sense. We just want to do well in all that we do.
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to see your child have self doubt. I think you handled it very well. I know he can do it too!! He is so lucky to have such a fantastic mom.
