De & I have been friends for a very long time, and would visit her grandparents in Michigan during the summer. (She's in pink, I'm in yellow.) The date on this one is from 1993. Gulp- 14 years ago. Her blog was also the very first blog I ever read!
You can click on the photos to enlarge, if you must.

Jil and I go way back, too, and I have several embarrassing photos I could share, but won't! Here's us on one of our many youth group trips to Great America in the church van. Holy braces & eyebrows!

Robin and I went to Christian school together our freshman year ('91-'92)- in the front row she is 3rd from the left and I am on the end... in the green... and white shoes... and this wasn't even the 80's... oh my. Oh, that's De again in the red at the beginning of the 1st row!

Amy caught the bouquet at my wedding almost 8 years ago! It took me three tries, and finally someone (she) caught it on my last toss!

Lori and I have shared some major fun times, as you know, like seeing the Wiggles in concert- 2nd row! We're wild, I tell you!

Sheryl and I used to go to church together and began our journey of becoming Moms to all boys at the same time... although she's bypassing me by having her fourth baby now!
Pinks & Blues is where all the Throwback Thursdays can be found...
And be sure to link up to the Vincent Shoes giveaway by tonight!
And remember the major crowd control when we purchased the tickets? I don't think so! Do you know we are talking about going again now that Mark is Mr. Wiggles Fan!!!
ReplyDeleteThis was so much fun to scroll through!
Look at all your blogging friends! I have ONE.
ReplyDeleteHow neat that you have "history" with so many fellow bloggers. And that you are willing to share pictures from high school with all of the internet. :-)
ReplyDeleteHa! This is great. We also had white nylons on to go with our white shoes. What WERE we thinking!?! And it's a good thing we can't get close enough to see MY eyebrows in that picture....
ReplyDeletep.s. I just realized that picture is from 1992. Holy Moly!!
ReplyDeleteso adorable! I always love seeing your throwback pictures. Must have been fun digging for those photos :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and memories! That last one could have been taken in my brother's old house - he had those exact same couches and the same color rug!!
ReplyDeleteJane, P&B Girls
wow that picture of us Steph, you look great me I can't believe that is me.
ReplyDeleteThose are some embarrassing pictures of me! The first thing I thought when you sent me that one was, "Look at my eyebrows!" :)
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, and then the whole putting our hands on our stomachs to make sure we didn't look fat. Then I was wondering what I was doing with my arm. I think I was showing off a watch I just bought or something. :P
ReplyDeleteI think that is so special that you have those special bonds with your friends. It just goes to show that good quality friendships do last throughout the years. You are very blessed to have such special friends and likewise, for them to have you in their lives as well.

Wow, those pics look just like mine from the early 90's! Isn't it weird how it doesn't seem like that long ago, yet it was FIFTEEN YEARS ago?
ReplyDeleteI hope I can get a scanner soon so I can post some hilarious pics I have piled up here. One word: BANGS.
What a clever TT. A walk down memory lane. It is so nice to still keep in touch with all your friends from the past. And to think that I work side by side with Amy, who caught your bouquet, and really never knew her very well. It is a small world..
ReplyDeleteI love the Jil pic, you two were (and still are!) adorable.
ReplyDeleteThose high school pictures are so funny. Thanks for not showing the world my huge dorky glasses :) How fun that so many old have blogs. You had mentioned Robin a few times on your blog before and it took me forever to realize that I knew her as a kid too! Fun post.
