Don't over react. Get the other side of the story. Remember it is a kid's eye view and you'd be surprised at what they think they see. Teachers often tell parents that they will believe only half of what kids tell them about what happens at home if the parents will only believe half of what kids tell them happens at school.
Uh yeah, not so good. Although I can't say I've never been guilty...although I haven't been carrying a passenger load of 60 small children either...hmmm.
And I bet you can pick up the phone to call the school board and report her with no hands!
There is a bus driver who literally drives 50 mph down my very NARROW one way street and comes to an abrupt halt. It's totally disturbing and I can't catch the name of the school or district on the bus b/c he's going so fast. Do bus drivers realize how precious their cargo is??
Kinda scary...
ReplyDeleteOh man...that's frightening:(

ReplyDeleteLove this picture!
ReplyDeleteyeah, that is a little unnerving, but I guess that's how kids see it.
I don't think Steph's post was an overraction at all.
ReplyDeleteI would have thought and said the same thing.
I agree that kids tend to see things a bit differently, but I'd still had been surprised by that and would ask about it.
Love the picture!
Great picture!
ReplyDeleteAre there any dents or scratches on the bus?
It's so good to know that our children are in such capable hands, huh?
ReplyDeleteEeeeeek. Did you phone the bus company to ask about this?
ReplyDeletethats a worry!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletemaybe she needs a whistle
oh geez. That would freak me out.
ReplyDeleteGood thing I'm not a bus driver. I'd be fired immediately.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture though. So often we see the "getting on the bus" picture - rarely the "getting off" one! Too cute!
As much as I am a reactor instead of a researcher, I agree with the above...maybe she was even at a stoplight.
ReplyDeleteGee. That would sure instill confidence, wouldn't it? :-)
