But, no longer! Today our new ultra soft and ultra big King-size bed is to be delivered!
I can hardly wait.
And almost even better- I went shopping at Target for new sheets and found the matching comforter set on clearance for $24.98. What!? The whole set! They had only one left and it just so happened to be for a King! It was for me!
Happy happy!
Happy day!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKing size bed is the only way to go!!!!
Staci
OMG I'm the first comment??? I'm NEVER the first comment!!!
Ha- I just posted it!!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course a full sized bed is "do-able" for co-sleeping but oh my gosh I can not wait for tonight and all the ROOM!! : )
Steph
Have a good night :). Sleep well.
ReplyDelete3 boys... and King Size bed... it's like peanut butter and jelly - they just go together!
ReplyDeleteMatt and I upgraded to a King Size in November... the best move in the world... !!!
Enjoy your delicious sleep!!
(if you have a Linens N Things near you, they are having a massive clearance sale too right now!)
Oh, we need to get one of those!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is a serious deal!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new bed! :)
I would love a king size bed. We have a queen and usually we have two adults and a baby in there. But, some mornings we have 3 kids and 2 adults. CROWDED! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteHere's to sweet dreams and sweet deals! Don't you just love Target!
ReplyDeleteSteve and I bought a king-size a few years ago when co-sleeping with the dogs started to mean one of us (meaning the humans!) were getting kicked out of bed!! Haha!
ReplyDeleteKing-size is the way to go! And what a deal on the comforter set!
Jane, P&B Girls
Target rules! Enjoy the extra room!
ReplyDeleteawesome deal!
ReplyDeletewe co-sleep with our 2 month old, isabel, on our full bed. i don't know what we're going to do as she grows or our family grows because i don't want a bigger bed! i like my bed :)
did you co-sleep with your other boys, too? how did you "wean" them, if you did, and how did they react to gray co-sleeping? i'm not planning to have any more kids soon, but when we do i'd like to avoid jealousy! :)
Great deal!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a king size Select Comfort bed... love that thing!
FULL SIZE!?!?!?!? NO way!! Maso is my little co-sleeper(when Daddies not around) and I have to have a king to sleep with him comfortably. I sometimes sleep w/ him in his full size and I end up on the floor. Given there are 200 stuffed animals in his bed.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new bed and ther great deal!!!
Room to roll! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou lucky lucky girl! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI just made you our MOTW for the CHBM next week! Congrats!!

Hey, a BIG bed!
ReplyDeleteWe co-slept with our first two kids on a dinky futon. That was comfy.
New sheets are the best!although we've never co-slept with Our son,
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for a new bed.A new mattress and new furniture is on my wish list! Our Queen is nice, but I'm tired to the sore backs. I want to try the sleep number bed!
Enjoy your sleep tonight!
hey Steph...

Aaaaahhh... SWEET! We often have a visitor or two in our queen-size bed. We'd love to replace it with a king, but our sleighbed was a wedding gift, and it's gorgeous, so we can't part with it.
ReplyDeleteLove Target's clearance! Enjoy the new bed. I'm thinking of getting one of those memory foam mattress toppers. Can't do a new bed anytime soon...three kids in private school kind of sucks all the funds from things like comfort.
ReplyDeleteWOW good for you - :) that's soo awesome, thankfully a full is a good size for Z and me - we were in a twin before, and OMG cramped!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSleep well tonight and ENJOY!
enjoy your new bed!
ReplyDeletefwiw, we have a king-size and co-sleep and *still* manage to run out of room. LOL
Yeah! Big bed! Congrats! And what a great deal on bedding! I love deals! :)
ReplyDeleteI love our king size. Clark sleeps in his bed until somewhere between midnight and 5am, and spends the rest of the night in ours. I can't imagine doing it in a smaller bed - he's so wiggly. Although... we used to let our Basset Hound sleep in our old full size bed with us. What were we thinking? Haha.
ReplyDeleteHow have you been sleeping in a full size bed??? Ha! When we stay with people who don't have a king for us theFM always sleeps on the floor and theBeast and I sleep in the bed!! We're so spoiled that my mom put a full size and twin together in her spare room for us, it takes up almost the whole wall!!!
ReplyDeleteYou wont know what happened when you sleep in that King gal...I'm so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteWe have queen and it's 4 and occasionally 4 of us. I want a California King! :D Hotel stays are amazing with 2 Queens!
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe you 3 were in a Full. Crazy. You will LURVE your King Sized. We co-slept with both of ours so we HAD to get one. Now I love it for the shear fact that I can stretch out and roam and not wake the hubster.
ReplyDeleteLet us know how it works out. Who am I kidding? You will fall in love! LOL
Awesome!! We have a king-size bed and we love it. Everytime we visit my in-laws it's hard to get any sleep b/c they only have full size beds. Needless to say, the Christmas holidays are going to be sleepless. lol
ReplyDeleteYou lucky dog! We're in a queen, but a King would be lovely. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you!We co-sleep, too. With Aidan a queen was perfect. But w/ Brennan, I think we need a king! He moves a lot more right now. Dh and I joke that he's ready for his own queen-sized bed, and he's not even 4 months old yet! ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great night! I'm sure you will.
way to shop girl!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are crazy... or really skinny. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe coslept in a Queen and it was too small by the time babe was 6 months. Of course I think it's too small for just DH and I.
Congrats on the King!
Wow...so much space to roll now! Congrats!

Have fun with your new bed! I feel like I need to upgrade to a King bed with just my big "man beast" as I affectionately call my boyfriend, who decides subconsciously in the middle of the night that he would much prefer to be in the middle of the bed! :) I don't know what I'd do if we added a kid to the mix! Good Target find! Love it there!
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME!!! Congrats on the awesome purchases!
ReplyDeleteDude you are insane, how did you do it? On a FULL??? We had a queen at our old house and I was going to start voting people off the bed so I had some room. We now have a king and yet, I'm still hanging on the edge. But oh my, it will be SO much better than a full!
ReplyDeleteOh girl! Just hold on to your baby-sling... you're gonna LUV the king-sized bed!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, our king-sized bed is my absolute favorite purchase of all the things we've bought in 12 yrs of marriage. Happy Sleeping :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Sleeping!
ReplyDeleteWe co-sleep, and we have a king size, we'll never go back!
ReplyDeleteBut beware, when you get a king size bed, your bodies may just grow to fill it up........... I'm just sayin'!
I feel ya, most nights I end up in dd's room while hubby and kids sleep in our queen, I think we need a bigger bed!
ReplyDeleteOH I am so jealous, though were aren't as bad off as you were...LOL...(we sleep on a Queen), I would so love to have a KING. AHHH. Our boy Chase is a monster when he sleeps! Hubby ends up on the crack by the wall and I end up with just enough room so I don't fall off. I am scared to think of what we are going to do when the new little one gets here!! congrats on your new bed and that sheet set is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI am jealous! We also have only a full-sized bed, and although we don't co-sleep with our 3.5 year old son, every day about 3 a.m. he decides he is going to co-sleep with us! It's a veeery tight squeeze.
ReplyDeleteHow I love Tar-zhay. God & Target must've conspired to give you such a fab-u-lous deal! Nothing is better than the giddy flush of successful bargain hunting.
So we started off with a full then got 4 dogs (over the course of 2 years) and moved to a king and then we had 2 cosleeping children (over 17 months) and this past January purchased a twin to push next to the king and dh is thinking maybe a full would work better - talk about a super bed island! We'll have to move to the basement to fit b/c it won't go in any of our upstairs rooms :) Congrats on the king - you'll wonder how you slept without it!
ReplyDeleteHow could you POSSIBLY fit 2 adults and a small child/baby into a full sized bed? My hubbie and I dread going on vacation to the parent's house and have to sleep in full beds -- we're so used to a king. You will LOVE IT! Even though, we don't co-sleep, when our 2 year old daughter wants to snuggle on Sat. mornings, it's always fun to snuggle up together....plus, we still have room for the cat :)
ReplyDeleteTarget is the greatest. Our local one even has a Starbucks inside - only in LA!!).
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the bed. Our 5 year old still likes to jump in about 4am and we only have a queen!
Nice! We have a queen and when the three kids come in during the morning for a snuggle, there is no room. I would love a little more room. I feel like I'm always wanting something . . . :)
ReplyDeleteOh Happy Day! Congrats and what a great deal u really scored on the bedding. But I'm waiting for the post where you will say "is this really a king...why are my leg still dangling over the edge!?!?" We have a california king and somehow I still find myself hang for dear life on the edge. How does something only 3 feet and 46 lbs take up so much room??? LOL
ReplyDeleteoh, good for you! how's it been going? are you guys still hanging out on one side of the bed, or have you figured out how to spread out all the way?
ReplyDeletewe usually have a king for jonah, me and hubby, but we've been on a queen while on vacation. its so tiny! :) i don't know how you've been doing it all this time.
