I escaped tonight! By myself! I went to the knitting shop and took my time looking at all the yarn. I browsed. I touched. I bought. I drove with the windows rolled down. I bought fresh fruit at the store. I came home happy. It's good.
I've been planning my escape for months: four blissful days at BlogHer. :-)
No worries about not hooking up. I know how busy things get on vacation and I'm just glad you had a great time. Funny thing is I was checking back through your posts and noticed we went to Chatauqua around the same time. Definitely one of my favorite haunts in Colorado!
I know! I went out last night with my girlfriends. We have started going out every week and just being without the kids for a few hours jumpstarts my soul. I'm in such a better mood having had some "me" time!
Good for you!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to tasting some of that fresh fruit tomorrow!!!
