Share the babywearing love. If you are a babywearer, you know how it feels to meet another sling wearin' mama. Whitney at Happy Jack's Mommy has a babywearing photo tag going on right now. Why don't you join in and visit all the other participants?
You can read about how my love for babywearing began here.I am having fun in these pictures last night with Gray in my Gypsy Mama BaliBaby Stretch Wrap from MamaKanga. No makeup on and I have pool hair, but we were still having a blast.
Hey.. thanks for playing along. I love that wrap. I might just have to win your mamakanga giveaway... but I think I'd get a mei tai. Thanks for being part of my first photo tag!
ReplyDeleteLove the wrap, Stephanie. I never quite got the hang of wrapping but I am determined to learn with this next baby. It is supposed to be so comfy and good from newborn through toddlerhood. All the fabric is intimidating, though!
ReplyDeleteI'll dig around and find a sling or MT pic to put up on my blog. :-)
Wondering who'll win the contest...
ReplyDeleteLooks like you were having a great time! And pool hair means you were in the pool... I'm jealous! It's been so cold around here lately I've been wearing sweatshirts all day!
ReplyDeleteLove that wrap you're wearing in the photos... the pattern is beautiful!
Jane, Pinks & Blues Girls
Well, since I am obviously not a babywearer, I can't enter, but I wanted to comment on the adorable shorts/capri's you have on Steph!
ReplyDeleteI'm really liking that wrap; hope I win the contest!
ReplyDeleteYou have quite a collection of babywearing gear; which slings/wraps/carriers do you find yourself wearing most often?
Don't you love how a wrap feels? That one is so beautiful and so you ;-) looks good on you both.
ReplyDeleteHow long is it? The Moby is extremely long on me.. if you cant tell from my profile pic. LOL look at the tail! its almost hitting my ankles hahaha but mine did shrink up (thankfully) when I washed it. I put it on hot in the dryer (on purpose) hoping it would.. which it did. I think it shrunk up about a half yard. Its still long though. Which is fine...
Have I mentioned how I LOVE babywearing????
ReplyDeleteI do like seeing other babies in slings. My cousin asked me the other day, as I was using my sling to cover Corinne while she slept in the stroller, if I still used it! She couldn't believe it. I found it strange that it seemed weird to carry a 1 1/2 year old!
ReplyDeleteEverytime I see you in these pictures wearing your lil'man, I wish I had known about that 6 years ago!
ReplyDeleteJust makes me want a baby even more, i really miss that baby-bonding time.
But to see that joy in your face with your children is wonderful and even better that you have those memories captured with photos.
Too Cute!
Have a great Friday!
Yay! I'm so happy she won!!! You and Gray look like you're having so much fun. You look great.
ReplyDeleterats! Didn't win again! LOL. That wrap is sooo pretty! Great pics!

ReplyDeleteCute pictures. That wrap is GORGEOUS!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a GORGEOUS wrap!! I'm starting to get bored with my one plain red sling.
ReplyDeleteStephanie, you and Gray are just adorable together!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great wrap! You have quite the collection!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look great to me!!
ReplyDeleteLove the camo long shorts!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! We've done lots of dancing while babywearing. I can't figure out wraps though.
ReplyDeleteAgain, I say, how cute are you, ALL THE TIME???
ReplyDeleteHey, I know it is too late for the contest, but I wanted to tell you that I thought of you this morning. We are in Canada staying with my mom, and we don't have a stroller with us. So today we went to the Farmer's Market and it was crowded! And all Timmy wanted was to be held. (He is 3.5yrs & 35pounds) I have been saying that I need a sling or wrap of some sort for times like this! SO I saw a babywearing mama and asked her where I could buy one locally. turns out the place to buy one was RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!! SO, over we went and I bought a PeanutShell on clearance for TWENTY BUCKS!!
ReplyDeleteIn Timmy went and we walked around the market for hours - he even napped a little while I wore him - and I could still browse and shop. My back didn't hurt, I didn't get tired - it was DELIGHTFUL!!!
I wanted to tell you this because I want your readers to know that it is NEVER too late to start wearing your baby. I have been meaning to buy one for him for a while, and now that we have it I am just thrilled!
We took pictures, and I will post them soon.
Peace!
Yay for sharing the babywearing love! Our NINO group is doing a babywearing outreach blog at www.magiccityslingers.wordpress.com because we love to share the love!
ReplyDeleteI bought my friend Amy a baby sling! NO ONE in our area wears their babies, so she's starting the trend in Southern IL!
ReplyDeleteShe's really excited!
