Jen, a friend of mine, emailed me this great babywearing story:I have been wanting to get in touch to thank you for your advice on babywearing. I cannot tell you how many times during my pregnancy I Iooked back at your very informative email, going through the resources. Wow! that was a bit overwhelming at first. Then I logged into thebabywearer.com and was blown away by the options
: ) And found tons of advice.
I took Mason with me to a wedding in Las Vegas last weekend. It was just the two of us, and babywearing saved my life! The wedding was beautiful. I ended up wearing Mason the entire reception. He was the perfect date.
Now that's what I love to hear! If you have a babywearing story you'd like featured for the Babywearing Tip of The Week or have suggestions or questions, just email me or leave a comment here!

ReplyDeleteThat's a great story!! I can't wait to hear more as people send them in to you!!
ReplyDeleteOnce I again, I sooo wish I had one of these when I had babies!!
ReplyDeleteI have a really sweet/cool babywearing story. I'll email you after I take a nap and have the ability to write in complete coherent sentences. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet story- and an awesome carrier! I've drooled over the bEco many times. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish they had slings available when I had my kids 30 years ago!
ReplyDeleteI have to say i only had a hip hammock with my first.. well i had a maya wrap but he didnt like it so much... but he was attached to my boob for the first year of his life anyway.. Now with my second child i started out with a regular store bought carrier.. he got too heavy.. so i was told about mei tai's and i got one.. I LOVE IT.. HE FEELS WEIGHTLESS.. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.. he doesnt like to be wore around the house, but when we go somewhere he's in my baby carrier!!!
ReplyDeleteI really dont know what I would have done without my slings when he was a newborn. Especially when he was fussy (before we figured it out it was allergies). I was planning on babywearing anyway which is a good thing b/c he just despised his infant seat/stroller.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabric on her Beco.
What a great story! She looks so cute with her little guy in that picture. That baby carrier pattern is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou are quickly changing the way mommies carry their babies, Steph!
