Alright, first thing is that I've had to extend the Bloggers Without Makeup contest! I honestly never thought I'd have this many bloggers willing to go no makeup for me! You all are more brave (and apparently go without makeup alot anyway!) than I thought. I need more time to make the prizes more fun! You deserve it!
So, here's a peek at a the two prize packages so far. It's going to be just random fun as for what's inside, but random is so fun, no? Inside these neat-o Google retro totes will be some cool surprises.
Both prize packages will include a gift card to Panera from me because that seems to be The Place for bloggers to meet up when they meet. And if we can't meet up in person, then have lunch on me anyway! (And if you win and there is no Panera near you -be still my heart!- then we'll work it out.)Also, as much as you all probably would love for me to include my new iPod nano in the giveaway, I've already made it my own and it's all mine... but I am giving away the adorable box of chocolates in one of the tote bags. More prizes are on their way everyday, and I'll keep you updated as I add to the totes.
Speaking of random and of Panera blogger meet-ups, I had dinner last night at Panera (of course!) with Beth from I Should Be Folding Laundry! I was a random winner from her contest for Heather and from this we found out we live like 20 minutes from each other. Get out!
She is more fabulous in person, I'll have you know. We could have gone on talking forever, but had to get home to our kids as good Mommies do. You never know what you're going to get when you meet someone for the first time. Will you run out of things to say? I thought, I guess we could just talk about blogging if nothing else. We did talk about blogging, but mostly about everything else, and shoes. That was very cool. She also just started a new blog with a weight-loss challenge at Tales From The Scales. I was a little worried our Panera meet up had gone awry when I heard of this (I need my carbs!) but the challenge starts next week!Oh and looky here at Beth's post about our blind date and also her 5 questions interview for me. She's so crafty like that!

What great prizes! how fun are you. And I love Panera Bread. I actually met a bunch of blogger buds up in Cleveland Ohio when I lived in Ohio. We met up at Joanns fabrics to buy some fabric to make a ring sling, then went to Panera Bread together. It was so fun. I actually have a post about it. Im sure if you searched my blog "Panera" you'd find it. Its yummyyyyy! but my hubby hates goign there so I never get to go :-( wah..wah....

Oh, I wish we still had Panera close by! We had one like 5 minutes from our house before but none in the new town, and I miss it.

Hmm, I had never heard of Panera before. I had to do a google search, and now that I know there are several within driving distance I'll have to check it out.

ReplyDeleteOnly recent photo I have - at my son's wedding. And no, I'm not wearing make-up (neither is Hubby, teeheeheee) because I never wear make-up (neither does he!! giggle-giggle) I grew up late 60s and early 70s....Flower child foregoes learning the make-up regimen - sigh
