Mama's Got A Brand New Bag

I love bags. And shoes. You already know this. I go in spurts and will just carry one bag and shove my whole life -and then some- into it, but then I get tired of digging around among the sippy cups, toys, and crackers to find my debit card & lipgloss. I need my own space! So it's time for separate bags again, and I think this will be all for the best.

Perfect timing that I would receive the awesome Skip Hop Duo bag from Mason & Matisse this week! (By the way, I'll pick a winner for the big contest tomorrow!) I love this bag! It's like a tangerine juice blend from Starbucks and makes me just as happy. Sippy cups, crackers, & wipes are right at home here. And this is not just a diaper bag. I see a nice long future ahead for us.

Then my BFF Ashlee takes care of my own personal space issues with this gorgeous Cherry Bomb Nest Tote. I love having pretty things! I have already turned my Lotus Tote into my new knitting bag. You can never have too many bags, people!

And you can never have too many contests- can you? You've still got time to enter the Mason & Matisse contest and then I'll be posting about another contest starting tomorrow, too! This time it's something for you- not baby!

    I just finished watching Lost and Claire was holding her baby in a sling made out of an airplane blanket! I kept thinking of you every time they showed her. One point for babywearing!

  2. Ok, I am such a freak when it comes to bags, shoes and throw blankets. I have to use every single ounce of self-control to resist buying anyone of the above mentioned in a new updated style. I usually stick with one 'purse' for a long time but I love any type of tote, bag, etc. I really don't know why. I guess it is a girl thing.

  3. Cute bag! I got a new diaper bag today, too! Hated to stop using the ladybug bag I had made, but I didn't make it big enough now that my Ladybug is starting to eat food... Then cups will come later... Got one big enough to carry everything for both kids and room for the stuff we'll grow into. Now, I have to customize it somehow...

  7. What woman doesn't need lots o bags? LOL I LOVE that orange one! I'm in the same boat, one day I use a smaller one with a seperate bag for the baby, and the next I use one bag for both of us.

    I hate the look of normal diaper bags. To cutesy. I love this one!

    The orange "diaper bag" is very cool, too.

    It's nice to know I'm not the only one who carries one bag for everything..diapers, wipes, baby clothes, pocketbook and lip gloss. :)

  22. Both bags are adorable! I'll be looking for a new diaper baby come this fall, but the ones I like cost a million dollars. I'll have to check yours out on the M&M web site.

  26. Hey Stephanie! The wrap is SO much fun to wear, I love it! Next on my list is a BBO Mei Tai!! Noah loves being in the wrap, though...he lasts about a minute before he passes out!!! I'm so excited to see who wins the contest tomorrow! I love Skip Hop and if I don't win I'm off to the store to pick up a diaper bag!!! Love them!
