Carter designed some lovely jewelry as an early Mother's Day present. Beats Tiffany's any day. (Hubby if you are reading this- I'm just kidding. Tiffany's always trumps kid-made jewelry.)
Plus I already got this and I'm sure you've put it on your list, too.
And don't you want to win this from Lessons from the Laundry? She's not doing laundry on Mom's Day. I won't be either. But it doesn't take much for me to come up with excuses to not do laundry...
What do I really want for Mother's Day? I am really hoping for nice weather and a day in Chicago with my hubby and the 3 wonderful reasons I even get to celebrate the occasion.
How about you?
LOVE the jewlery!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'd like a day where I don't have to cook!!!
It may not be the most expensive monetarily, but kid-made jewelry certainly comes straight from the heart! Priceless!
ReplyDeleteAnd I think it's good that Carter's starting young with knowing ladies like the bling. ;)
So cute!
Jane, Pinks & Blues Girls
Cute. One year I had to wear the most hideous necklace to church. It was fine on Mother's Day but then my daughter wanted me to wear it everyday. She didn't forget for about two weeks! In argument for the good stuff...it lasts longer, and you can one day pass the it back to your kids.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a contest for a Mother's Day basket over at my blog. The lack of creativity on my husband's part inspired my give-a-way.
Come on over and check it out...I'd love a mention on your blog!
Thanks,
Kathy
Love your jewelry!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what I want for mother's day. My husband literally got me a case of my favorite perfume lotion from Bath and Body.
Such beautiful things! :) He is so sweet! :)
ReplyDeleteMother's Day will be spent with family. Hopefully no cooking and no waking up with Bubbie- if he does wake up in the middle of the night!
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteFor mother's day, I'm going to the nearest "big" city with my husband and without the kids! I'm gonna buy stuff! WE're going to go have FANCY COFFEE! WE're going to the movies! Whoo!
Those are gorgeous pieces. Remember to always remove your jewels before doing dishes! :)
ReplyDeleteWe will be up in Duluth for Mother's Day...I think I want to have coffee with my husband at our favorite bakery and then go get the kids for a walk on the Canal.
Have fun in Chicago!
Oh fancy jewels you have there. You might not want to wear them into the city and become a prime mugging target ;) Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteMe? As usual I'd love to just sleep until I can't sleep any more but while time stands still so I don't miss anything.
You should know, it isn't polite to brag!! What lovely taste and skill Carter has! You are blessed in deed.
ReplyDeleteYour jewelry is gorgeous! I wore a necklace made from beautiful weeds the other day, it was AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteI tagged you for a meme if you are interested, no pressure, just fun! ;)
I haven't a clue what I would like. It truly does not matter as long as it is wrapped in a cute box. I am a sucker for packaging.
ReplyDeleteSo jealous!
ReplyDeleteMason {my son} said "Mommy whats Mothers Day?"
I explained "An extra special day to thank Mommy for all the nice stuff she does for you."
His reply . . "Mommy I say thank you all de time!! I'm gonna be mean to you on Mommies special day!!"
B R A T!!! [he was kidding...I hope!]
I love that your child made that for you! I can't wait until mine is old enough. Really, that is priceless, there is a tag on Tiffany's!!
ReplyDeleteHunter made me a necklace out of paper clips. I am styling!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what we are doing yet for sure, but I do know there will be NO laundry involved. (but I did just start one now)
That jewelry is right on par with dandelions being brought to me, and having my son insist that I give my flower a drink so they stay alive. "Weeds" hold no meaning for him yet.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The handmade stuff is the best!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping for some bubble bath and the like for the big garden tub in our new house.
That is too cute. I can't wait until my son can make jewelry for me!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet. What thoughtful boys you have. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I want is a fun pedicure, and some pure lavender body cream for my new stretch marks. lol. I would love for hubby to make dinner.
I don't think we'll be doing anything, though. It's our niece's 1st b-day party that day.
What I would love more than anything for Mother's Day is to be able to spend the day as a family. Unfortunately that won't happen as I am married to a golf pro who has to run the business so others can have that day with their families.
ReplyDeleteAt least I will be with my children who make every one of my days filled with sunshine.
I love the jewellry Steph! They are definitely keepers!!
Awwwwwwwww! So sweet.
ReplyDeleteLinda
I have worn many noodle necklaces with pride! :)
ReplyDeleteA Mother's Day gift I always cherish is HEALTHY KIDS!!! Also, freedom to leave this house when I need to while Steve watches the boys. HEAVEN!!!
(A pedicure isn't bad either!)
This year since I'll be working with my mom that morning, we are eating at Culver's and going back to my parent's house so Mark can nap in the afternoon. Nothing is better than family!!
Aw! I can't wait for my boy to be able to make me something.
ReplyDeleteI just want to be able to sleep in really, really late!
ReplyDeletereally, that is all!
This parenting thing is exhausting!!!
