In The News

I wish you could see the adorable pictures of Noah in this article today, but the whole piece itself is awesome. Here's a link online to Noah's story as a feature in The Times Get Healthy section today...

We'll be walking this Saturday for the 3rd time as the Buddy Bears in the Greater Chicago Epilepsy Walk. This is Noah's first year walking seizure-free, med-free, and diet-free.

Yes, I am still pinching myself and thanking God every day. I don't forget, and I do not take days- even mere moments- for granted.

This day after Mother's Day I am very proud of being a Mama Cat and doing everything I could to help my child. I am so thankful that we relied soley on our faith in God that He would guide us and heal our son Noah. He does indeed have big plans.

Noah for being so very brave of battling through this illness and yourself and Jeff for doing your research and taking a chance to make him better. Good for you for not giving up!
My husband started have grand mal seizures in March 2001 and they are horrifying to watch not be able to do anything. He was working on jet engines at the time and it stated in his medical records that some of the chemicals they were exposed to could cause neurological disorders. (I might have let it go, but he wasn't the only person within his shop to start having random seizures). They were never able to explain why he started having them or why they suddenly stopped. They put him on medication where he slept all the time and then they switched it and he was a big jerk. He got out of the military and stopped taking the medication. We moved back to Kansas (knock on wood) he hasn't had one since and it's been five years.

  17. This article told it all. Noah is an Angel and I know that God has big plans for his life. I am so proud to be called his "Mimi" and I am so proud of how dedicated my daughter Stephanie was with his diet. She amazed me at her strenghth, determination and patience during this time. Noah found Grace in the eyes of the Lord!
