Get thee to a park (with or without the kids) and get on a swing. Go as high as you can. Lean back and close your eyes. Let your hair flow in the wind. Stay as long as you can. Bubbles. They are fun. (With or without the kids.) But only when you are not the blower. You must put on a fun summer dress or flouncy skirt and twirl around in the yard, wand in your hand, while the bubbles fly about.
I did both of these things yesterday.
It'll cure what ails you.

ReplyDeleteWhenever we go to the park and the swings are free- I'll swing. :) Bubbles now on the other hand, I get sticky and wet!
ReplyDeleteBubbles make everything better! Being a teacher I have lots of opportunities to swing and the best is when one of my students push! Keep staying young!
ReplyDeleteI knew I needed a cute summer dress!

ReplyDeleteAmen to those dresses & swirling. I'd wear them everyday if I could. But I usually get to be the bubble blower. I'm just fine with that. watching Sophia chase them brings me bliss.
