While my mom was at the hospital waiting for my new niece to be born, a young couple came into the waiting room with a newborn baby. She said the mom seemed to recognize her right away... from my blog... namely this crazy bathing suit in the snow post! Hi Jen! Your new baby is too precious! Congrats!
And in case you missed it, here's the video (the best I could do) of my dogs in sweaters...
How funny about your mama's celeb sighting!!! We watched Animal Planet and saw your crazy dogs! That announcer has to go! :)
ReplyDeleteWe watched it too. Monte had a friend over and even he thought it was cool I "knew" the famous dogs.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe someone recognized your mom! It's a bit creepy......
That show with your dogs is funny! How do they come up with that crazy commentary?? hehe. It's always been one of my fantasies that I'll be walking through the mall with my kids and someone will say "are you the flipflopmamma?" haha, I'm so lame!
ReplyDeleteHa! That was cute. I want a little dog that I can put sweaters on, too.
ReplyDeleteI bet your mom never thought she'd become famous from a blog :)
ReplyDeleteHAHAH! That is too cute!
ReplyDeleteYo' mama is famous, thanks to you! That might be even funnier!
They always have funny commentary on those shows. Cute pups!
ReplyDeleteThat's a small world!!!!! I'm not ready for strangers to recognize me or my family in person from my blog......
ReplyDeleteDid she sign an autograph??
Thats pretty cool! Ive heard of other blogin mammas recognizing each other in public. It's such a cool network we have here!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! I love that picture of your mom, just remebering your post brightens my day.
ReplyDeleteAww, I bet you do miss your doggies. We adopted a dog a year and a half ago and had to return her after seven weeks... I think she'd been abused and our home just wasn't the right one for her. It really broke our hearts. It will be awhile before we're ready to take that step again, and if we adopt rather than purchasing from a (good) breeder, we'll work through an organization committed to making good matches vs. a local shelter just trying to get rid of excess animals. Sigh. Eek, I sound bitter, but it was really hard for us to go through all that and then to boot they charged me money for keeping her so long and trying to make it work. It all could have been avoided if they'd told me she was snapping at shelter employees before we adopted, not after.
