Gray won't keep his pants on. He runs on the small side, and at age 15 months, size 12 month pants fall off of him!
A very common saying in this house from Noah & Carter: "Mom, Gray took his pants off again."
He scraped his leg the other day running around without any pants on. I thought, I need to get him some of those BabyLegs. I really thought, I need to knit him some of those BabyLegs, but I don't know how yet... maybe if I had some I could teach myself.
I checked eBay first to see if I could find any used ones, and *shudder* didn't expect to find these! Ick.
So, I've just ordered him some from Urban Baby Runway. Pictures to follow for sure...
That is just haunting!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute. (The leg coeverings that is! HA) I've never seen them before. I can't to see pics!
ReplyDeleteDo they make them that small? I had wanted to get theBeast some...but she's so tiny, I didn't know if they'd just bunch up. Anyway, I can't buy anything new, so why don't you buy some, put them on Grey, and then I'll buy them from you! LOL.
ReplyDeleteThose ebay "baby legs" are so funny. Who would have thought!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see Gray in the babylegs!
Those legs on e-bay were creepy. lol Never heard of the babylegs before...anxious to see the pics. The only time my son every took his pants off was when we were potty training...and off came his underwear & shirt too. For some reason he thought he had to be nude to go potty. lol Luckily he's figured out that he only has to pull his pants down a little to go.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Aninnocent search on the Internet can bring up some pretty scary stuff...
ReplyDeleteAnd Babylegs are awesome (and so is UBR of course!)
Admit to BUSTING OUT LAUGHING at the "baby legs" on ebay! That was funny! I love the baby legs you were talking about! I had never heard of them until you!
ReplyDeleteMy little one won't keep clothes on if we are home either. She always strips sometime shortly after we get home. I like to call her my "Free Bird". Little size 2/3 panties is what she is in ALOT! :) Have fun with the Babylegs!
ReplyDeletePS- I just looked at what you found on e-bay! I was laughing so hard, my daughter had to ask if I was laughing or crying! TOO FUNNY!
ReplyDeleteThose doll leggs are gross! Yuck! The other babyleggs are very cute! I guess you really can get everything on ebay!
ReplyDeletePS Just took a nap and a nightmare about those eBay baby legs woke me right up!!! :) JUST KIDDING!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Babylegs do fit from babies to toddlers and older! Cara (at UBR) said that she's never heard of them not staying up or being too big for a baby, so I thought they were worth a try!!
ReplyDeleteEw that's gross.
ReplyDeleteElijah has the same problem-- at 17 months and weighing in just at 20 lbs, he can still fit into all his 12 month pants too. (I JUST put away some 6-9 month size because they were finally too short)
And anything with zippers and buttons but no elastic? Just forget it. They'll fall right off.
Our big problem is E can't keep his hand out of his diaper!?! We have keep him in a onesie at all times. Sigh.
ps the Babylegs are adorable! What a great idea-- can't wait to see pictures of Grayson. With his pants on :-)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of babylegs...I'm off to Urban Baby Runway...
ReplyDeleteDoll legs! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI want to get The Baby legwarmers because she's going to start toilet training soon and also because she's built like a big noodle - pants just don't stay up on her!
Babylegs as alternatives to pants... hmm. Gonna have to try that.
ReplyDeleteCREEPY! Let me know how you like the baby legs. I like to constict X's huge belly as little as possible :) which means he is ALWAYS pantless when we're at home and his little legs get chilly...
ReplyDeleteI'm off to bed hoping those "baby legs" from ebay don't pop up in my dreams!
ROFL! Was not expecting that!
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned the other day you are still breastfeeding...are you going to wean anytime soon? Miller didnt nurse last night I may be on the road to success here...its not like I dont want to I just am ready for the next step in life.
ReplyDeleteJen- I emailed you privately, but for anyone else curious, I plan to breastfeed Gray until he's at least two. He's just recently eating more regular food. Right now I see *no* sign of weaning in our future! HA!
ReplyDeleteUm.. EEEWWWWWWWW!! Freaky creepy!
ReplyDeleteBut yessssss baby legs ROCKS (ONLY from UBR, of course)! Starlet still wears hers with skirts. Now its more of a fashion statement for her. Yikes! When did that start??
Those leg coverings are adorable! And so functional too! And I must say I think I'm in love. This is the first time I've checked out the Urban Baby Runway website. I'm starting to get the gimmees!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever worn the Robeez sandals on your boys? I notice UBR carries a different brand of those types of shoes and the sandals are on sale. I always thought they'd make the baby's feet hot.
Stephanie - I can feel your pain. My son doesn't run on the small side, but he is so skinny in the waist that there are no pants that will stay up on him.
ReplyDeleteThe only pants that come with an adjustable waist that I can find anyways are from Gap and for me anyways, there is just something fundamentally wrong with spending $50+ on a pair of pants that my son will wear for maybe a month or two.
He did however get into my sock drawer a couple of months ago and would only wear my socks with shirts, so he created what you might call his own leg warmers. I will post a picture for you to see this incredible fashion statement.
That is too funny - so not what I was expecting to find at the end of that link! Let us know how you like the babylegs - I think they're adorable, but haven't been able to decide how practical.
ReplyDeleteThanks once again for the linkage. I think you'll be happy w/the BabyLegs. We need to get Gray's buddy X a pair now!
ReplyDeleteAnd everyone else, what the heck are you waiting for? They will make your diaper changing/toilet training life so much easier. They are the only thing Julian will voluntarily wear around the house these days too. They look very cute w/a bare bum :)
