BooMama is hosting the great Christmas Tour of Homes. How fun! Check out all the other homes if you're as nosy as I am (I love to drive around and

So, if you'd like to take a peek here at my home, come on in!
Outside we usually put up lights around the posts along with my red ribbon but this year we decided to simplify (read: it was too cold by the time we figured we should put up our lights already) and then I also rationalized that I don't want to take away from the beautiful job our next-door neighbors did with their lights...
The wreath on our front door was made by my wonderful Sister-in-law Elsa and her mom.

Come inside and you'll see our Christmas Tree right away.
Along the stairway hang the stockings with care. Underneath, a child nibbling sugar cookies might just be found there!
And in our kitchen I often have a pot of cinnamon stick and clove potpourri brewing to flavor our home with winter scents! This will be my easy recipe to offer you: one small pot filled with a bit of water, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. Simmer on stove and be sure to make sure the water doesn't get too low. Add in other spices and orange peels if you like as well!

The best thing about Christmas here at home is the three little elves that entertain me daily. Oh what fun it was taking this Christmas picture this year!

Thanks for viewing my home for the holidays. I wish you a very Merry Christmas from my house to yours!
