If You Voted Raise Your Hand

Alright, who voted today?

Anyone else relieved that we don't have to endure any more negative political ads on tv, at least for a while? But, in honor of today and the need for a good laugh, check out this preschool class president race in Iowa.

  3. That's awesome! I am ashamed to say, because we've not lived in our new county for very long, we're not registered. : ( We thought we were, but when we checked, we weren't. By then, it was too late. I know, I'm a sorry excuse for an American Citizen. I might also add that the race in Illinois has hit an all-time low. I don't like ANY of the candidates. I feel NO vote is my vote.

  4. Do not eat your ballot.......too funny!!

The boys school has voting in the kindergarten rooms so the parking lot was insane! All the kindergarteners went on a field trip.

  9. Those negative ads are awful - we get all of the American channels. The recent Canadian election was just as bad, and we have more political parties to sling mud around! Sigh.

  10. Love your new photo!!! And yes, I am happy to see those ads go!

...Okay, okay, I'm stalling. (*Blush*) I didn't vote today. I didn't do my research well enough and it's been crazy around here lately with all the sickness. I know -- excuses, excuses. I promise to do it next time... I usually do, I swear! (*Still blushing...*)

  11. We have a municipal election coming up, it's for Mayor and city counselman(people) and I think for school officials. I'm so out of the loop - I had no idea what was going on... I was wondering why people had all these signs on their lawns...
