"You are the bestest Mommy ever for building us this neat box-cave. Now, No Girls Allowed!"
Can you help me find a little “curvy” for my Tidmouth Sheds? (Moms of boys will recognize this as Thomas-the-tank-Engine-track-speak.)
They learned to count from 1-12 by those trusty and cheeky little engines, and I know each one by name, color, & number, too.
I get to be the Queen Of The House, the princess that always needs saving, and the beneficiary of hugs and kisses all day long.
There is nothing like a boy loving his momma. And I get this, times three.
I am one lucky lady.
You are one lucky lady! And they're lucky to have you.
ReplyDeleteaaawwww..... sweet! A great friend of mine said that she got to keep her status as "Queen Bee", upon finding out that her #3 child would be another boy. As for me? ssshhhhh.... I fear boys. Not other mama's boys, but the possiblity of us having one. They seem to have ssssooooooooo much energy & are totally fearless. But of COURSE, God knows best, so if that's His plan, I will happily accept. :)
ReplyDeleteYes you are! I wanted boys soo bad! But girls are nice too. After all, girls are made of sugar and spice, and we all know what boys are made of, don't we?
ReplyDeleteSigh. I love all my little guys in their stripey shirts. I love their Thomas-speak ("Joel is being cheeky, again! He's causing confusion and delay!"). I imagine the day when all four (or will it be five?) of them are taller than me.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! I have one little guy and I just love it! I don't think I'd mind too much if I had another!
ReplyDeleteGotta say this: I love having boys!!! I hope they grow up to be bigger than their mommy so they can protect me and be my gentlemen. :) I picture myself sandwiched between two tall men at future high school graduations!!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Matthew always asks for a "straight piece" when building tracks.
Boys are the best, even if the wife wants #3 to be a girl. We'll be finding out in a couple of weeks which way we'll be blessed.
ReplyDeleteTooo cute! To make my daughter feel special after the arrival of her baby brother, we have NO BOYS ALLOWED--GIRLS ONLY moments. Usually it involves taking her to the potty but bonding time is bonding time. :-)
ReplyDeleteAwww, I love my little boy too ;).
ReplyDeleteHow cute. I cried when I found out my second was another girl - I wanted to have a boy so badly! Then I had 2 boys! Whoa! A whole different ballgame, but I just love the difference.
ReplyDeleteWe have the Best of Thomas video that my 3 y.o. would watch all day every day if we'd allow it! He's got it completely memorized. He sets his little cars and tractors and trains up and acts out all the stories.
ReplyDeleteAnd he is my little "moma's boy" too. His words, not mine:"best buddies" :-)
It's true - there's nothing better. What a beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteI love my 3 boys too! However, we haven't discovered Thomas yet! :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! My nephew is a Thomas nut.
ReplyDeletehey there, here via looney bin's site
ReplyDeleteI have 4 girls and I am lost in the world of boys!!! always wanted one but guess I got what I needed!
I'll be back soon!
