I've decided to share something that "works" for me: the grocery list on an envelope!
I clip coupons and keep grocery lists- they go hand in hand! I never have a shortage of envelopes... used ones, the extra ones that are in every bill statement that comes (as most of you probably do online banking anyway!) etc. I keep my grocery list on the back of the envelope, then stick the coupons I plan to use inside the envelope- Works-For- Me! (Just remember to take the grocery-list-envelope with you when you shop!)

Now that is a great idea!!! Now if only I can find a really good coupon for cookie dough...
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is an awesome idea. I always get frustrated at having the grocery list and then the coupons somewhere else, I end up coming home with unused coupons because I couldn't find them or forgot to turn them in LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such a great tip :)
Now I would try that and then leave the envelope sitting on my kitchen counter. Sounds like you might have done that a time or two. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. Your family looks sweet, and I wear my baby, too!
Great idea. My hubby does most of the grocery shopping - so I'll pass along the tip to him. ;D
ReplyDeleteI would love to read more about your son's seizures and treatment too. I'll look in your archives, maybe there is something there? I do have some posts in my archives too.
I used to do this. Why did I stop doing this? I need to start doing this again.
ReplyDeleteAnd I used junkmail envelopes. Recycling and all.
That is an awesome idea, Stephanie.
ReplyDeleteCounting down the minutes until 9/8 Central! :)
Aren't you smart? Geez, why didn't I think of that?
ReplyDeleteI do that too--I use the "business reply" envelopes that come in the junk mail.
ReplyDeleteThanks for swinging by my blog. Another baby wearin' momma over here from the good ol' Midwest.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea!! Especially for this zombie mom of a 5 mo old ;)
That's a good idea. I do something similiar. (I also am a baby wearing momma!) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI used to keep my coupons in a wee plastic organiser. I separated them into catagories. Problem was sorting through them to bin the expired ones. I also put my list on a sticky and stuck it to the container, or put it inside. Another one here that would walk out and forget the whole deal. I really miss coupons...
ReplyDeleteSunday evening was my clip-coupons-and-browse-the-sales-adds time and Mondays I planned the weeks meals. Such small things I took for granted. No coupons and no sales adds in the UK.
that WAS a great idea. It would probably help me out alot and keep me from doing what I did tonight...I was at Target and I had a coupon for Pampers dipes...well, the ONLY reason I wanted to get Pampers is because I HAD the coupon and they would be the same price as the others I normally get. So...you know what the outcome was, don't you? I still bought the more expensive dipes, Pampers, but FORGOT TO USE THE STINKIN" COUPON! ARGH! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the idea and I will be sure to use it next time!
Now, what'd I do with those envelopes.....
Brilliant! Watch for me at the grocery store - I'll be the one smiling because I'm NOT rummaging through my purse anymore!
ReplyDeleteBest idea in the world. I can say that, because that's what I do!! Works like a dream.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea. Sometimes I forget to dig my coupons out or else can't find them at the check-out.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I always forget my coupons or drop them while I'm shuffling through which ones I need that week. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! That beats flipping through the coupons as you shop!
ReplyDeleteMy cousin owns a daycare and does this, I've never done it myself, but I have to start! Thanks for sharing =)
ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous idea!! I quite often forget to use coupons that I had planned on using simply because they're not in sight. I will definately use this Works For Me!!
ReplyDeleteI do this, too! Great idea!
